Agnus showing up
Have not even been here for so long I had to log-in again - surprised. Guess time slipped away this last trip. I've been home since Thursday. Anyway this is Sunday night, a time for restarting my week, and one of my daily meditation books reminded me that I can re-start a 24-hour day at any moment. So I am prayed up, tooled up, ready for bed and my Step 10 planning for tomorrow. Good night for now, and then...bring it on, Monday!

Kitty CI/CO
Today I'd originally planned to do a couple more things than are on the list below, but recognized upon waking that I needed to give myself a day off after having such a successful few days, my first days using the tools of PA. I have learned that I time-binge. This might not just be on a specific task--maybe it's when I get wrapped up in momentum over a couple days? So I don't want to overdo it and get exhausted. Therefore, a day off to reward myself.
I commit to being at tomorrow's 8:30/7:30C telephone CI meeting. See you there, and have a great Sunday.
lennon check-in
I plan to do some things today:
Post some Al-Anon literature for today, tomorrow, and Tuesday
Take my shower
Get Dressed
Get my clothes ready for tomorrow and Tuesday
Wash my sleep apnea stuff
Get my sleep apnea stuff ready for tonight
Have some prayer and meditation time.

showing up here is my first act of deciding to let my higher power in.
PS Interesting tidbit I heard today: "Microbursts" are a characteristic of a nuclear bomb, ha ha, so I am going to think of that as do my "microbursts" and instead of thinking "why bother" I will think "power".
Really getting aware of my "computer time bingeing" . I am not doing it any more than before but with all the shares, I am getting out of denial.
Thanks for being here.

Happy Sunday! I postponed the grocery shopping yesterday because of the sore foot so that's my MIT (most important task) for today. Other than that I will probably try to get some work done, anticipating that I'll be able to be a little more active next week and I'll have some work hours "in the bank" if I want to leave early a couple days.

e's Sunday may 15 2010
I am having a strange time lately, making progress in one area and then binging on reading, eating, sleeping in another. I am finding that the weekday phone bridge has been immensely helpful to me, but that my willingness to work my program is low. For today I want to stay in the moment and reach out for help. I do not have to do this alone.
For now, I will get up and do one thing at a time: when I put those things in place I feel so much better.
bed, meds, bathe, swish and wash, laundry, dishes, 2nd meds and breakfast. For now,I only want to look at what is immediately in front of me so that I don't freak out about what is next.

Internet addiction
Perhaps you could lock the Internet off for periods of time? Sure, you are not a child so you could always choose to unlock it but sometimes I find myself on the Internet or doing something else to avoid my tasks without really being consious that I chose to do it. It is a bit like sleep walking. Maybe you could ask someone else to set it up so it is locked past 11pm?

Big challenge today, I am hopeful that I can rise to meet it, wish me luck!
Relapsed. Hard. This
Relapsed. Hard. This occurred due to an unforseen break in my schedule. I put off doing a timed quiz online earlier in the week and luckily just remembered to check when it was due. It was Sunday night. After comlpeting it, I slacked off for hours then went to bed. None of my scheduled tasks were completed. None. I woke up the next morning did as much homework as I could and handed it in incomplete (again). I've been doing a lot of reading on procrastination lately and with so much generic advice (some saying just start working now! others saying accept it theres nothing you can do). I refuse to believe I cant change. I am considering at this moment walking up to the free counselling building in my university. Yet, I am totally unsure if this will be a practical help seeing its quite late in the semester. Thoughts anyone?
