How to get back to work at 3.30. Advice needed.

Hi I am new here and I'm taking baby steps

towards recovery from procrastination. What

happened yesterday was that I totally ran out

of energy and motivation at 3.30 pm. I still had

things on my list but I just couldn't make myself

to them. Up to that point I had been Ok, though.

Instead of beating myself up about it I choose to

look at is as a learning experience.

So, any advice? What should I do in these

situations?

Elisabet

I have just learned

hope this will work as it is something that I have seen others here doing but never did myself and this week it has worked for me.

Being a procrastinator you have probably put way more on your list then is possible to accomplish. Celebrate what you did accomplish and forgive yourself for what you did not accomplish. Do not beat yourself up it sounds like you had a productive day and you should be happy about that.

Do not look at your list as a way of measuring yourself use it to keep you focused. As you are learning to develop your list in the best possible way to help you do not be afraid to adjust you list, and celebrate even the smallest successes.

I usually run out of energy and motivation by 4:00pm, Wednesday of everyweek and the 3rd week out of 4. I post here often and keep track of where I am at. I really do not have much advice for this other then if it is a task that really needs to happen that day I tell myself how good it will feel to check it off my list, come here and post that success as a former of celebration and victory.

Hope this helps I know others will have some advice. Pick what will work for you.
