Got confused - I don't have
Got confused - I don't have to be to work early tomorrow so that gives me an extra hour of working/chilling time :)
Also been thinking, if I manage this + the big proofreading task I have on Monday, I'm pretty much going to give myself a day off on Tuesday. Do my job, have my prayer time, and that's it. (I wonder if I can manage that!)
Great job Lucky!!!!

BED straight after check in!
(The three smileys for creative writing are because I'm freaking overjoyed that I did that. I want to be a professional writer, and for a procrastinator, that's quite the career ambition. But I'm really getting the feeling lately that my HP wants me to do it and will make it possible.)
Now then, I need to make a detailed plan for tidying my bedroom. It's just gone 12 noon now, and by my estimate, I have about 3 hours of other tasks to do. I'll call it 4h because things tend to take 30% longer than predicted!
Assuming I want to be in bed by midnight, I'll say that from now until 8pm is potential tidying-time, and then I need to start on my other tasks. (I'll do the shopping first and then phone D, as those are the only things I can't do in the middle of the night!)
My first task is to categorise everything. So I'm going to take upstairs:
My computer, so I can stay connected to you lot :) and listen to music
Bin bags
I'm going to put on the bed:
A box for books
A bin bag for rubbish
A bag for clean clothes
A bag for dirty clothes
A bag/box for objects
My backlog file for papers
As things get full, I'm going to move them downstairs out of the way and replace with empty containers.
My aim for today is to get all the mess downstairs and do the laundry.
Tomorrow, I'll aim to:
Clean the rat cage and put in shredded newspaper instead of the current bedding that gets all over my floor
Hoover and clean the room (including skanky insides of drawers)
Put all the stuff back in a coherent fashion!
There'll still be a lot of stuff in cupboards and boxes that I've never unpacked since moving a year and a half ago. I'm not going to try to get to that this weekend - if I do then great, but just getting what's all over the floor in order would be fantastic for now.
Lucky plan for the weekend
THANK YOU, Hope, for this awesome thread! Really put a smile on my face when I woke up this morning. :)
As a Mary Poppins freak, I'm going to have to add my favourite motivational quotes...
'In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.'
'"It all depends."
"What on, Mary Poppins?"
"On you."'
'Anything can happen... if you let it!'
My first challenge for the weekend is to spend 9 to 11am working on my creative writing. It's nearly 9am now, so I'll be back after that to make a plan for the other main event of the weekend... TIDYING MY BEDROOM! (Perhaps that's why Mary Poppins is on my mind right now... ;) )

Hope-Faith Plan For The Weekend
Hi all please feel free to post your weekend plans here visit often and post your accomplishments as well as provide support to all who are here trying to make the most out of their weekend time. At the end of the weekend we can all reflect back on our successful weekend. Do not forget that you can use chat as well as daily CI's. Lets make it fun use graphics, post often.
The least productive part of my week is my weekends. Granted I do alot with my children but I do not move forward on my "other stuff". Part of the problem is that when I get to the weekend I have so many things running through my mind that I need to do that I will not commit to doing anything because I can not do it all. As I reflected on my week and my accomplishments with my routines a wonderful plan for the weekend transpired. So here it goes.
Usually at the end of the day if I have task that I have planned to accomplish and did not I just mark them off as not done and move on the next day. (I do not have but so many hours in my day) So this weekend I am going to go back through my weekly task and make a list of all that I did not accomplish and that is what I am going to work on this weekend. So here is my list for the weekend.
Weekend commitment.
Well there is my list of things I am going to work towards accomplishing this weekend.
Update to Weekend Madness List
Do for the day it has been a very successful day. Thanks to all the encouragment and support.

Helen's plan
I am sort of not sure if this is the right place for this post as I am not going for a successful full-on busy weekend. Today even posting is a start. I will cheer you all on though! You give me hope that recovery is possible.
I am still not 100% well, (headache, stomach problems, sore throat, tired and general malaise). I did a few things yesterday and felt good about that. I started to feel ill again so I stopped and I have woken up today feeling drained and demotivated.
I know my motivation varies with my energy levels and my energy levels vary with my health. I will make a doctors appointment on Monday, (made a note) as my problem has been hanging around for too long and I feel I might need some extra help.
So my list is about looking after myself today. Actually if I do everything on my list I think I could call the day successful as I often don't look after myself properly.
Brought a hypnosis MP3 about procrastination.
Brought a book about accessing my strongest self
More washing up (at least two bowls )
Breakfast
Defrost bread
Cook some lunch (Eggs on toast)
Bath
Clean teeth
Read 1 chapter of Getting Things Done
DVD
Make a study plan
Read 1 chapter Marketing for Dummies
Sleep
Cheer everyone here on to great heights
Dinner (Stir Fry).
P.S. I found a free paraliminal download about Peak Performance

Thank you for joining us!
Thank you for joining us! (Helen) I know just posting is an achievement sometimes!! Especially when you're not well - I do hope you feel better soon.
I'm really happy to see you making a list that's all about looking after yourself. So many of us don't think we deserve to or have time to, but so much procrastination is CAUSED by self-neglect, malnutrition, exhaustion, boredom and the habit of thinking you're worthless. It's easy to think that every time you fail you need to beat yourself harder, but actually we need more carrot and less stick :) and sometimes we even need the carrot BEFORE we do anything rather than after!
Yeah, just really happy whenever I see someone on here showing compassion to themselves. :)
And of course I particularly approve of this line:
'Cheer everyone here on to great heights'
:D Thank you! Cheering you on too! :D
