Show up (done) the starter made my day.........thanks

working on computer problems. will check out 12 noon meeting. Thanks for being here.

5pm ck in finally cmpleted enrollement for cyberschool for 2nd son, took about a week, was better after I followed up today with calls. Very time consuming and tedious, only because I kept "showing up" was it done. Called Dr. and rescheduled appt. The Dr's wife runs the office and she is so sweet and her paperwprk issues are as bad as mine, I forgot the appt, and she forgot to schedule it in her appt. book,so it worked out, computer half way done. Some tech support from India helped, he was so nice, calm and polite, so next time I call I can learn how to fix the issue on my husband'somputer once and for all myself, I hope. Checked in with PA friend, so the support I needed that helped me go through the discomfort, not easy, but I could not have done it alone, my discomfort doging is a big part of my procratination.

So the long story short, grateful for everyoneone here and the hope of recovery with baby steps.

((HUGS)) Vic

So glad to hear about cyberschool enrollment!!! YAY for you!!

hope4meandu - OMG - my day can only be good with this starter!!

Hey All,

Checking in at 2:38PM. I've done everything but look at my materials for my part time job this weekend. I am crashing and tired...poor me.. I have a real block about learning, probably undiagnosed learning disability. I'm conflicted about the stuff the trainer told me.

I also just got a little snippy with my employer who's out of the country - I guess I don't see the sign that says, "dump on me." I don't at all like getting angry with anyone, so I'm mad at myself for letting this dumper get to me. Now I'm paranoid that the people in the other office heard me (his Aunt works next door).

To do:
-call p.t. script yet?
-call Dr. D if necessary
-schedule p.t.
-find a bone for Y
-read over materials for credit card and formulate a sales strategy
-find out GM hours & location
-work on b&w flyers for dog business
-pick up mags from Ch?
-log-in food
-add contacts into work
-type in to dos for hubby
-log-in groceries needed
-call & cancel Y for Saturday
-post for a gently used HEPA filter on-line
-find a cheap wx & ha place around here
-call S about p.t. weekend job

Home:
-cook
-finish laundry
-clean refrigerator
-clean kitchen floor
-sweep
-clean bathroom
-dust
-read over allergy materials and clean accordind to that

Blessing to you all today!!

An easy day today

I've pushed really hard this week. Today I'm going to lower expectations as I am beat. I'm fine with that for one day.

  • email two proposals
  • switch food banners
  • 4 cart items
  • billing report
  • TFG & SA proposal
  • drop off LAP
  • organize mail - 15 minutes
  • contact computer prospect
  • in bed at 930pm!

Why can't I edit? Hmmm

How come some posts you can later edit, and others you can't? I can't edit the above post. Yet I was able to for the last two days' checkins.

Anyhoo, It's 7pm and I'm struggling. I need to get a few more things done to even feel mediocre about the day. Time for coffee and a pep talk to myself. Gotta buckle down!

late ---Well, I rallied and got quite a bit done.

re: why can't I edit?

Once a post has been replied to, you can no longer edit it.   I usually just reply to my own post if I want to update it after replies.   I like to update throughout the day, but I like replies more  :D

and congrats for the rally and getting alot done!

Jo

I approve!!

Journey 8:30 Puppies!

Whoopee I actually made it to the morning check in call this morning!  Thanks to the leader and participants for starting my day off right.

Today will be a busy day at work with a lot of meetings and trying to fit in some real work between them.

I've been to the gym, checked email and calendar, and now making my todo list for the day.  I had some quality time with my "big" project list last night and if I have time today, I will spend about 15-20 more minutes with that.   I am thinking about setting weekly goals, or weekly MITs, rather than daily, to give me a focus for the whole week.

I'm doing ok, and I feel that I have crawled out of the deepest part of the procrastination hole that I was in two years ago when I first came to this site, but I still have work to do and I'm thinking I need to change something up to be motivated/inspired to do not just ok, but do my best.   Well, I'll think on this a little more later, right now, Meeting #1 is coming up meh.

Have a productive and enjoyable day everyone!

PE 9- Cute puppies!

Hi!

Those puppies are so cute- I want one!

Well the to do list is the same as it always is reports.  I know it doesn't help to complain, but that is what I have been doing and it isn't getting my reports done for me.  I am going to put my feelings about report writing aside so that I can actually get them done.

1. J.g.   2.  b. br.   3.  j. pi.  4.  d.el.

I look forward to a to do list like this:

1.  sew a little 2.  go to pottery class 3.  pack bags for vacation  4.  plan party 5.  go to spa  6.  cash the checks that just keep piling up

@PE

I like the second list!

Rexroth Check In

Good morning Friends

Done:
Woke and up early feeling well
Wrote needs and wants and journal
Checked emails
Phoned library to check if exhibition was still on and when
Worked on craft project - this was difficult and I felt a lot of resistance and I did it and achieved a little - a little is more than I achieved when I was not doing it.

Now email from person investigating my complaint against the Hospital. I am in a state of confusion over it and am not sure what to do. I do not need to respond immediatly but there is no point in putting it off!

Todo:
Think decide act...

Regards Rexroth

Rexroth Update

Well I decided to get on with it and don't think I would if this board had not been here.

Done:
Read the email again
Read the last part of the files again
Replied to the email
Sorted out the recent papers that I had not sent and listed them
Printed out the letters from me that were on my computer
Took the others to the local shop and copied them and bought a red pen
Put the papers back in the correct places in the correct files
Colated the copies with the list and filed them temporarily in a ringbinder
Numbered the photocopies received from the hsopital which consist of some of my medical notes
Took these out to the local shop and photocopied them
Sorted out all the copies and originals and filed them

Todo:
Finish writing a summary of my complaint
Write a time line of events
Possibly write some observations on my medical notes
Write a covering letter to the Ombudsman
Put all in a big envelope and seal it well
Take to the post office to send by recorded delivery
Have a think on the way I have approached and dealt with the whole thing, could I have done it better?
Put everything away and forget about it

Now I am not planning to do all of that today and I could do with a bit of a rest now

Regards Rexroth

Rexroth Check Out

Done a fair bit of above and there is more to do tomorrow. Hd supper and washed up etc.

Night Folks

Rexroth

Well done on the craft

Well done on the craft project - I'm a very blocked writer so I want to cheer when anyone manages to squeeze out something creative in spite of resistance! Great that you're still feeling well too. Good luck with the hospital!

Thank you Lucky

Thank you Lucky. I've done some writing in the past and have been blocked at times so I can relate.

Ew, hope you feel better

Ew, hope you feel better soon!

I'm not so sure about the dancing with a feverish cold - I also like to push on as normal when I'm ill (I suspect a lot of us here do - God forbid we should be soft on ourselves in any way, right? :) ) but I'd still suggest keeping an eye on how you feel and an open mind about whether you keep going for the whole hour - sometimes it's a choice between a bit less productivity now or a LOT less productivity later!

Thanks. I managed half an

Thanks. I managed half an hour but didn't really push myself to workout hard. I like dancing, it is the only exercise I like (that I can mention in public anyway :D).I am feeling a bit better today.
