This week so far has been OK, but not stellar. I'm going to try and pick things up today by 1)time-logging 2)visualizing/praying about my day
For today, what I want to get done is:
MITs:
1 hr org (1 hr, duh)
Work on a couple of experiments (1 hr)
Finish basic HPLC plan and email, request references for more detailed plan (2 hrs)
Finish interesting genes and make slide (2 hrs)
Post stuff for class (1 hr)
Other tasks:
Look at seq res, make slides if results look good (1-2 hrs)
Prep for harambee and yg (1 hr)
Choose samples for comp (1 hr)
1 hr org (1 hr)
And then I'll go to dancing at around 7 or 7:30.
OK, I'm going to start w/ HPLC plan.
kromer 4:40 CI
My concentration is decent today, but my time estimate for the HPLC plan was way off, so I'm somewhat behind.
I finished HPLC plan, and did about 30 min organizing. I also have done most of expt. stuff.
I have about 15-20 min work left on expts, then I'm going to work on interesting genes for an hour.
Hey Kromer
Can we all come to the dance too?

Show up (done). Phone check in yesterday and today. Was so great!!
1.Did lots of matriculation paperwork for my son. All day hope it is complete.
2.Forming Possible New Tool: Phone "work" hour next week. @9am and 1 pm. Different call in code from the other PA meeting.
Description: (not set in stone). Similar to the CLA phone meetings where people call in,optional announcing self or focus action (optional), every 15 minues reporting progress report,(optional) .
Kind of like being in a virtual office knowing others (like ourselves) are there. You can just listen if you want, helps "shift" us to a place we want to be in a gentle way, it's actually kind of fun in the CLA meetings .
Nice idea vic!
I haven't done the phone calls yet, but will join a few in the future.
Hey Vic
Love your picture!! So glad you are going to the PA meetings. I got to go on soon...
Have a great day!

Journey 7 am
Good morning! Working from home again today, I worked a bit late last night, and got a lot done on Project V. I feel good about that, but I also feel a bit disorganized and overwhelmed with administrative stuff that didn't get done. I've read new email, checked my calendar, and now I'm going to exercise, shower, and get back online by 9 am. I'll spend the first hour or so just reviewing my todo list, catching up email, and reviewing my big project list, to remind myself of my priorities.
I've been feeling low for the past couple of weeks and today I finally feel like my energy is back. My heart goes out to those of you that deal with depression. My problem is usually the opposite, I'm easily distracted and want to do too much and can't concentrate on what's important. But this past week or so I didn't even want to get out of bed, and I'm grateful that I don't deal with that feeling on a daily basis.
Here goes! My intention is to check back before 10.

Journey 1 pm &
Well, it's a bit past 10 lol, but I have my todo list all organized. The BIC is home sick today, so I thought, good, she can't bug me, but she called and asked me to do something for her so I spent the last couple of hours taking care of that. I had my schedule all planned for today too :) but I'll postpone something . . .now I'm going take a lunchtime shower!
UPDATE 3 pm showered and attended a meeting, then got distracted by stuff around the house. Back on task, and will work on new Project M for an hour.

Thanks for reminding me- I do deal with depression, esp the winter and Feb, that is why just "showing up" and exercise is so imprtant to me. Happy you are feeling better.

Rexroth Update
Done:
Above and I do feel tired
Phoned doctor for appointment regarding info in my medical records which troubles me a little. I have been putting this off since last week.
Received email regarding complaint against hospital and so got out the file and felt in a complete muddle about what I had done when. Fortunately the file was in order (actually the file was in order because I put it away in order) and emailed back.
Todo:
As I have the file out I think I will do more work on it as it is now in the forefront of my mind
Rest I am really tired and might be overdoing the exercise
Think and write what I need to do to make things easier i.e. buying clothes and some household things
Thats all Folks
Rexroth
Rexroth Check Out
Done above and now a little while on the net and then sleep.
Night Everyone

Woke up tired and out of sorts and have pretty much wasted my before-work time. No time to make a tasklist now but will try to do one on my commute. I think my subconscious is shaping up for a 'You've been on a roll for a while so now I'll ruin a day' - but I'm not going to let it!
Commute:
full makeup
prayer time
writing book
Reading book
work:
spreadsheet
contract letters
email
paper
minutes
tidy desk
lunch:
send letter w diagram
email etc
Poppins scans
pay C
After work
(fill in later when I know if I'm going out)
Hey Lucky
It's funny your subconscious and mine are the same - LOL - the thing I haven't discovered yet is, when is it time to take a break?
Successful travels today!!
