Hi, I'm endlesstides, and I'm new

Hello, I just wanted to greet everyone and say a few things about myself. I'm twenty, in my final semester for my Associate's degree, have been procrastinating my entire life, and might end up failing this semester. FrownI can't fail. My parents are paying for my tuition and are counting on my graduation. They're not pressuring me, but I'd feel awful if I wasted their money...

So, how do I start kicking this habit?

(welcome Endlesstides)

Welcome. We do not give advice here, but I found, for me, since I came from a very dysfunctional family and I was in the same situation, . Maybe paying back your parents if you fail (even if it is just in your head) may help take the focus off pleasing your parents and on getting your degree for yourself.

What do you mean by them "counting on my graduation. They're not pressuring me" If I felt someone was counting on me for something/anything , I would feel pressured if I was not coming through for them or procrastinating.

What is so different from this semister, if you got this far? Please do not feel I am asking you for answers to these questions, Just some thoughts you may want to ask yourself. Sometimes, we get so wrapped up in our crazy thinking, we may miss the obvious. You are so close to the end and it may just take some thought adjsutments.
