Show up (done) I believe I had approximately 1 degree (rounded) change in my PA progress on how I handled this report since the last. (I heard 1 degree makes a huge diffence when crossing the ocean, so I am grateful for that.
I submitted what was needed in my report this morning and did not stay up all nite. The rest is in my work file and a full written report (with picturew, plans. maps, etc. will be delivered on Monday). As an experiment, I am going to try to plan written time slots for this instead or "winging" everything in my head and write down how I feel because part of my problem, I can step back and see now, is that I overreact at what I do/do not do. I get upset because I think family things don't count.
In OA I sort of got an idea of how much food I needed to be healthy instead of the binge/starve cycle. Now I can choose how to eat healthy. I want that with PA, learn how to spend my time to be healthy instead of going into survival mode and all or nothing cycle of procrastination and prodection, anxiety,hypervenilation,immune breaksown and insanity. I guess they call it "balance- I know I will never be perfect, but I have hope now at least a little better. I just don't want to live like this anymore and I don't believe my HP wants it either.
Thanks for being here and letting me share all the "insanity" so I can crawl through the shame, confusion and paralysis of it all with others who understand and my HP.

Wow - where did the day go! - didn't even get gas for my car. Like so many other weekends, it rolls over to Saturday or Sunday unless I want to be farther behind next week. I must parse out my time better. If planned properly, I could have completed most of everything, but I focused on one thing at the expense of everything else. See if I can get more done tonight (said that before....) Snow in the mountains this weekend - I should be enjoying it instead of working. Learn and change.

After my meltdown yesterday -- and using it as a commitment to myself to work the program here -- here is what I have going on today and need to get done:
1. Make planning to do list for 15 min. DONE
2. Get list of messages. DONE
2.a. Get messages from last week and make sure I've returned all calls.
2.b. Return all calls by 10:00 a.m.
3. Update master to do list.
4. Get to office by 7:30 a.m. Clean up office for 5 min.
5. Check my continuing education requirements. Buy on line program if needed to get extra hours. DUE ON MONDAY.
5.a. Office meeting at 11 a.m. Keep it rolling and make assignments and deadlines.
6. 2 p.m. meeting with potential client
7. Leave for office at 4 p.m. to coach son's soccer team at 5 p.m.
8. Leave for Rent performance at 7 p.m. - show starts at 8 p.m.
9. Do update to hospital client.
10. Make sure client's travel request gets finalized.
11. Work on sentencing memo for client.
12. Work on sentencing memo and deal letter for client.
13. Follow up with pharmacy client on letter.
14. Enjoy myself. Good news is I have a lot of work. And I have great friends and people around me.

OK, today I have more stuff that I want to get done that I can possibly get done...so, I'll just need to prioritized.
There's a bunch of scheduled stuff that I'd like to go to, but I'm going to need to skip some of up. I will attend: staff mtg 10-11 (this went really long), youth group 5:30-8:30.
If possible, I'd like to attend a party with my classmates 9-10:30ish (it would be fun to take a break, plus professionally it's important for me to know people in my program)

OK, prepping for staff mtg now. If I have extra time before the staff mtg, I'll use it to work on slides. After the staff mtg, I'll take notes and finish slides. I need to start transfections+other expt around 2:30.
Update 12:10--working on finishing slides now.
so this morning, i was dreading checking in, dreading having my quiet time, dreading starting work. Then some idea just popped into my head, i knew that i wanted to come right here and check in and start on the right foot today, and surrender to all the things i know are right and good for me.

Good morning! Tired, confused, and muddled; me too Rexroth! Yesterday was such a stressful day and I worked my a$$ off. Now I feel like I should be able to just slack off today. But, I can't, I have work to do. So, I will acknowledge that I feel tired and be sure to get MITs (most important tasks) done and then think about the lower priority stuff if I have time. When I feel this way I also tend to get antisocial and just sit at my desk and not talk to anyone, so I'll make an effort to go out to lunch with the Friday group too. ugh. I already feel that I don't want to go to lunch with people, although I KNOW I will enjoy it once I get there. Maybe some coffee will improve my outlook, I'll go get some coffee, make a fairly easy todo list, and try to get out of here early enough to get to the library before they close tonight. That will give me something to look forward to. I really, really like going to the library lol.
Anyway, the good news is that I was up early and made it to spinning class at 5:15. I have a hard time getting to that class on time but I made it this morning! Therefore, I was early to work, so I should be able to leave early too, if I focus and get my work done. There, I feeling better already.
busy morning with phone calls and trouble tickets again! Not as bad as yesterday though and all the routine stuff is done, so it's all good. The group lunch may not happen today so I'm off the hook about making that decision . The other people in the group are also having a busy day.
I'm having a hard time shifting gears from reacting to calls and questions and settling down to do some reports I need to do. I'll work on the reports for at 30 minutes right now, then I will take a break. (whether I deserve one or not!)
UPDATE 1 pm Reports are done! now, should I go down and get a healthy lunch or sit here at my desk and eat cereal. Well, that's a no-brainer isn't it. Off to get healthy lunch.

So far I've got up etc etc and did not spend too much time on internet. Just long enough to check the blogs I follow and then tell myself that any further roaming around is not productive. Got to work on time (yay!). Today I'm keeping my list short:
