Thondiel getting started

Hi everyone

I have a challenging day ahead, as I expect to have lunch with a person who will call if in town. This is a problem for me, since I feel like part of my scheduling is out of my control. Anyway, here is what I would like to get done before the call:

  • project X: read through what I wrote yesterday and just pick one section to add to
  • reinstall a program that is glitchy

Thenwhen I get back from lunch, I plan to:

  • break down the chapter I am working on into sections and pick one section to finish

Had a customer status

Had a customer status update to make that I wanted to avoid, focused and sent my update.   Felt good, the world didn't end, sun is still shining, life is good.

*Spec O project - go live Monday.
*Haircut
*Pick up prescription
*Update V on sox audit
*Do one thing on my PA list
*Device summary changes
*Work on billing front-end for A
*Update dates on G

Focus, move forward, standing still is not an option.

Have a great day!

procrastination cost is too high, received a wage garnishment today due to unfiled taxes.  Not to mention the cost due to stress and damage to my marriage.   I'm gratefull to have a job, so I can pay the taxes, but it should have never happened!

Sorry to hear Cal20

What I've learned here and it has slowly, very slowly, started to infiltrate into my life..is when things are bad on the outside, to not be bad to me on the inside....and/or simply put EZdoesit. I know it's hard and this craziness we have can be debilatating....ez does it...you're here...things will get better.

Hope4meandu -Thank you.

Your encouragement and kind words are greatly appreciated.   Each day I'm here sharing my struggles, checking in, and reading everyone elses comments, I gain insight into my own problem and feel stronger.

Agnus showing up, following up

Started by missing the start of a conference call that I initiated - sheesh. totally embarrassing. Got alot of personal backlog uncorked last evening but this left me only about 5 hours sleep under my belt...so this is a hang-onto-my-butt day.

I have a colleague call in 5 minutes for which I am unprepared. As soon as I survive that, I have these intentions for today:

  • check vision insurance and sked an opthalmologist. My left eye has been hurting for 3 days now; very distracting.  DONE!
  • Project AH Q&As, talking points, grafix, what else?  IN PROGRESS...
  • Ap mapping
  • VIP AP presentation
  • AP outcomes

4:30 bogging down, re-checking in for encouragement. We can do this...right?:?

Hi,

Thanks Chick and Clement, really helpful starter and really pretty.

I'm back at work and I'm stuck on doing attendance, which used to be 1-2-3 for me. Because I'm all uptight and confused, I'm not concentrating on doing the attendance, I'm doing my emails, writing lists, etc.

I notice when someone is mad at me or sends me nasty emails about something or screams at me, I get stuck and can't do the work I get all bottled up inside..I'm way too sensitive.

I'm also at a point where I don't know what next thing to do for my dog's health, so this a.m. when I was trying to figure it out and couldn't I said then I guess there's nothing to be done until I know what to...that is a new thought process for me or one I haven't had in a long while.

So now, first things first, I'll try and focus on the attendance...
(I can't do it...it's too overwhelming and I left off in the middle...feel like I'll never get it done.)

For now, I'm going to do something I know I can accomplish and hopefully it will feed into the attendance?

Thanks!!

Journey 8:30

Good morning!  Working from home again today.  Yesterday was a pretty good day for a work-from-home day.   I put in a lot of hours and got a lot of configuration work done.   These are good tasks to do from home because I know what to do and how to do it, and it's just a matter of putting shoulder to wheel and grinding it out.   My job includes a lot of system analysis type stuff and that is much harder to do at home because it's scary and requires thinking lol.

This morning I will finish up the config stuff, and this afternoon get back to Project V, which is more difficult but it's well underway so I should be able to pick up where I left off on Friday and get back into it.
