Welcome! Sorry I didn't catch you in the chatbox earlier. You were nearly in the right place for the meeting :) When it's time you need to click the 'meeting' tab. If that doesn't make sense show up in chat and someone will explain. Good to have you on board!
I am making a resolution to remove dread from my life. I never want to feel dread again. I plan to replace it with feelings of motivation, challenge, and acceptance.
Now I am going to attempt to complete 2 formerly dreaded and now just challenging reports by tomorrow.
B.B. report 50% done- will wake up early to finish
Feeling a little under the weather today, so I slept late and had a nice relaxing morning.
Today I'm flying back home. It'll be sad to leave my parents, but nice to get back.
I don't expect to get much done today, but I do need to make some calls for church and pack. If I get time, I'd also like to do a little probability studying. Then, on the plane I'll try to read 2 papers.
OK, doing a little bit of packing now.
Update 1:10--did a little packing, hung out with my family, now I'm going to finish packing and have prayer time.
Update 1:50--done packing, now prayer time (about 15 min)
Update 2:20--done w/ prayer time, now going to do some probability studying.
Just showing up to say Happy New Year to all my PA pals! I stayed up way too late, sitting around a lovely backyard firepit with family and friends, watching the glorious sky show as light clouds and soft humidity took turns tossing rings and round rainbows around the brilliant "blue" moon. What a night to remember. Around 10 pm we were sufficiently dazzled to wonder if we'd last until midnight! But we caught a second wind around 11 and then were wide awake until well past 2...ack! Still it was great fun and I wouldn't change a thing (except maybe some grazing-like food choices that have me a bit nervious today in my OA program).... I fell asleep listening to a live 24/7 worship service and woke up feeling wonderful and full of gratitude.
I don't have a thing planned today except some food prep, rest and reading. A lovely day!! Hope you all have a great New Year's Day and thanks for being here!
Done:
All stuff in list above. I have nearly finished the finances and need to check some bits when I am more awake tomorrow.
Also I've made bread, which is a little thing I thought I would try this year, trimmed my beard which is a good thing and read a book about Africa and elephants and wondered what my life might have been like if my father has accepted a teaching job in what was then Rhodesia a long time ago. It is that time of year.
Thanks for that inspiring start to 2010, movingalong!

Movingalong's Friday 1st January check-in
Hello all.
I feel paralyzed if I consider one year at a time.
But for one day, or one hour, or one minute, I can ask Higher Power to guide me to recovery.
