Just got back from visiting my grandpa.

I'm feeling pretty unmotivated right now...but I can work anyways :) I don't need to get a huge amount done today, but there are a few chores I want to get done. In particular:

1)Edit poster, take notes on sources/techniques, email to TE
2)Email DR (working on this now)
3)Finish problem set for one class, read over problem set from other class
4)Email about readings on staging (will do this soon)
5)Photocopy readings on buffers, finish planning for pilot expt.

If I get time, I'd also like to clean the bathroom, do some reading on oscillators, update budget, microburst lab mtg presentation, make a schedule for next week.

OK, right now I'm going to head to the chatbox and finish up my pset. Then, I'll write the email to DR.

Good morning!   It's been a pretty good week for me, I hope it has been the same for you.

Yesterday was my wedding anniversary and we went out to dinner, so now I need to go get on the treadmill and work off that dessert.  Then, grocery list, grocery store, straighten and dust the parts of the house that are visible to company, and make dinner.  That will pretty much take care of today.  I don't wanna get started, so I am here committing to getting up, getting on the treadmill, and getting the day started!

Hi pro amigos,

I'm going to spend 10 minutes on the scary financial stuff.  Thinking about it for 10 minutes can't possibly kill me, right?

Falcon 10 min. later

Well, I'm glad I did that.  It only took a little over 10 minutes to figure out where I am financially and, while it's not where I want to be, it's not as bad as I thought it was.  Whew!

Hello!

Last day of the gargage sale.  I drank my coffee and took a few minutes to read emails, and now I'm heading up to put things out.

Yes, if I had not procrastinated on several days this sale would be better, and my stress level would be lower.  That being said, I am doing really well and I just keep going.

I also know that having less stuff is for SURE going to help my feelings of being overwhelmed.  So, lessons to learn both ways.  Hate to say "shoulda, woulda..."  but for me it helps to be able to admit it out loud to someone.  You!  So my next event, whatever it is, I really want to keep at it more diligently AND earlier.  Just a goal, not a beat-up.

Thanks guys,

J

@Jules

Bless you for having a yard sale!  I think about having a yard sale to get rid of some of the junk around here, but I lie down until the thought goes away.

Hi Pro Buddies!

I'm up early, as my weekend is going to be very busy. I will be in and out all weekend.

This morning I have washed & moisturized my face & gotten dressed, and I've started the bathroom swishies. I'm going to continue with various A.M. chores until it is daylight enough for my bike ride.

5:50am. Did a more thorough job than usual with bathroom swishies. Guest bathroom in particular looks really good :) I heated & ate breakfast, and have started the dishwasher. I've bagged up some trash. Next: our parking garage is lighted, so I will take some things down to the car. Then I will take the trash to the dumpster. After that, it will be about daylight enough for my bike ride :) The day gets busier after that, so I will talk with you either much later today or tomorrow :)

Have a great day, everyone! :)
