High functioning procrastinator =(
Hi, I'm new to the forums but long time procrastinator.
Let me first introduce myself. People would say that I'm high functioning as I'm a junior doctor in my early 20's, intelligent and gets along well with people.
What people dont know is that i waste SO MUCH time doing pointless things such as playing online games, reading comics, watching youtube videos etc. I would be surprised if I spent more than 20% of my available "study" time during medical school studying! Examples would be spending the ENTIRE day online playing some stupid flash game.
Even though I'm in a reasonably good place in my life, I feel highly unsatisfied as I have wasted so much time and could have accomplished much much more.
Anyone else in a similar position or have been in a similar position? Please share your stories and advice!
Thanks in advance!

Welcome Chron!
Oh yes, I can identify with this! One thing I have learned here is that you DO NEED time to goof off. The problem comes when you go into goof-off mode and just stay there for long periods of time. It helps me to PLAN a certain amount of time to play games, or do mindless stuff like watch tv. The trick is to set a timer and then don't ignore it when it goes off.
