Recycler CI 5:35pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

Thanks for the great threadstarter, Journey! :) Love it! :)

At the gym this morning, I still have been released for exercise by my doctor, so I just showed up and took a shower and got ready for work ;)

Fielded emails and phone calls at the office during the morning. At lunchtime I ate some food that I bought and paid some bills. I tried to do a telephone errand; since it didn't work, I've moved that project to the bottom of the secondary list.

In the afternoon, my assignment list received more attention, and I was able to mark some things off as done. By the end of the day, I have the list prioritized and highlighted for Monday.

Arriving at home, I am considering what to do now. I am going out to a social event in about 40 minutes, so I will just putter around for a bit.

Have a great night, everyone! :)

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

check in (3:23PM)

Hi All,

Haven't checked in enough this week. I showed up to work every day except Monday. Mondays are the hardest for me. Once I'm here, it's fine, well not really, but...

I really need to focus on showing up and self-care for me an my girl (dog).

I started p.t. for my back this week, thankfully and I'm feeling better. I will go to the gym at lunchtime. I gratefully worked out gently and short, building up slowly.

Self care:
-wake up early during the week to spend more time with girl on a.m. walk.
-brush teeth 2 x's a day

Dog (Yoffee) care:
-clean ears at least once or twice a week
-bath once a month
-brush at least 2-3 times per week
-get natural flea spray
-look into homeopathy for her bronchitis/allergies

Keep trying to keep the faith that HP will help my girl.

Take care everyone,
hope4meandu

Agnus checking in 11:15am

Hi Group.  Missed y'all. Don't want to waste time examining where I fell off the PA wagon, but glad to be back just for today.  My fear of my MITs and MUTs has grown unmanageable again and I need to be here!

Program:  I had some prayer and phone calls, but none of the reading, journaling or meditation that are my daily commitment.  I also need a meeting, and to do a service commitment that's due tomorrow morning.

Family: Check 3-month backlog of bills against the auto-pays I set up (thank God for those!), and insurance against med bills.  Plan fun with grands. Send Dad a card.

Job: Respond to 88 emails that require thinking and action. Submit overdue report. Plan budget mtng. Make three overdue VIP calls. Make at least 5 calls from folder full of promised calls dating back four months.  My project wraps in 5 weeks and I need a stellar final report - and NOT at midnight the day before!  Also I need to do some targeted thinking about what's next, as my income ends with that project.

My next right thing is some meditation and journaling to ID HP's priorities since there seem to be too many MITs to reasonably complete in this 24 hours. God help me!

"fall down seven times, get up eight" - japanese proverb

Vic 8/21

Showing up (with freebee of knowing what day it is) 1st baby step.(done)

Took son to work, was writing e-mails for 3 hr. (sponsoring, friends,( etc.), next baby step ACTION. I am trying to change my thinking, body movements, so this is an experiment, any action is ok, I want to see if it is easier to make a list after I do some action where I move my body  until my son calls to pick him up around noon.

done) Well that theory  did not work/experiment done.. I really need to focus on specific tasks. I did call t-mobile for 2 hr trooble shooting and 1 hour self repair, so at least found out if it does not work, to go to t-mobile store. I thought I should have gone there first, but how could I know>

Feeling tired and grumpy. took ladder to apt. yesterday and meeting. went out for coffe after meeting with a friend only to find everything closes at 9? We made Dunkin Donuts for 20 minutes til 10 ( the drive throu is open 24 hrs, but not inside) Did not get stuff done around house. Feel likeam  doing everything for everyone else and nothing for me. I need to change attitude and write gratitude list. then list.If nothing else, I showed up, know what day it is , called t-mobile, helped obnoxious teenage son, without fighting. At one point in my life, that would have been a magnificent day- 1st graditude. (done) feel so much better tidying up papers while watching tv

step work and walk-store if possible

one advantage of checking-in, i always know what day of the week it is :)

yesterday i had a meeting early and prep and then pressing tasks, so i didnt check in. probably binged a bit. 15 min timer help SO MUCH with that. i think i'll set one now.

so...i've checked my email, facebook, and there's nothing left to check, but my need to check (avoid, divert, resist, escape) has not been filled. So rather than waste time checking things i dont even need to check, i'll check-in here and let the power of HP working thru the tools of this site guide me onto the right path.

10am check mtgs -- DONE

Yes

Wow, that is so true- it's like when I had a place for scissors, scotch tape and stapler. That little thing has changed my life these past 2 years, I forgot- it is the little things.

Today visiting scientist is in town, so that's going to take up a good chunk of the day. I've already prepared for and had a mtg w/ him, and then I have seminar and lunch 11-1ish. Then, I need to leave for church around 5.

Therefore, in my other work I need to be focused and efficient.

MITs are:
*Write short version of proposal, email it to TE
*Finish writing up FGF lit search
*Microburst analysis of embryonic data
*Notes from mtg, look up Dmc1 mutant

Other tasks are:
*Work on GD's project (finish it, if possible)
*Spend 1 hr assembling training compendium
*1 hr work on meiotic blocks project

Breaks are: See AG 9:45-

Right now, I'm going to take notes from mtg w/ visiting scientist, and look up Dmc1 mutant. Then, I'll start writing up Fgf, but I'm sure I won't get it done before the seminar.

kromer 1:50 CI

Took notes from mtg, went to seminar and lunch (went a little late), took a short break, now back to work. I'm going to work until 3 on writing up FGF lit search (might not get quite done, but I hope to get close), then I'm going to take an hour and work on short version of proposal (think I should be able to get this done in an hour). Back at 3.

Journey 9:30

Good morning!  I'm in the office again today.   I've been to the gym, read email, and checked my calendar.  Now for the todo list.  Laters!
