This morning at the gym I did my full cardio, stretching, and ab exercises.
At work this morning I prepped for staff meeting then went to the meeting. After the meeting, I started doing various of the projects. At lunchtime, I ate the food I brought, went in a quiet room & had some meditation & inspirational reading, then did on on-line errand. After lunch it's been a combination of other projects and getting ready for a meeting for another group.
After work tonight I will go by the condo & change clothes, before going to the meeting of one of my other 12-step programs. Since I hope to meet with my sponsor after the meeting, I may get home too late to update my CI.
I'm in the familiar position of having lots of work but not enough to pay my bills and struggling - i never have time to reevaluate it seems as I am doing what i can to meet the needs for today.... sigh I am making plans to move in Sept. which is a bit scary, but something I need to do and pray for wisdom about.
If I think about how far i have to go or worry about not having enough to pay the rent and bills I won't be able to get done what i need to today.
Praying for peace and wisdom to get it done and figure it out!
For now I am going to finish designs for my 2 jobs today.
10th anniversary of quitting smoking......I think of all that has changed in my life in this past 10 years, wow. I am NOT that person anymore, and I AM PROUD of all that I have accomplished.
I can't seem to get chatbox to work for me today, the actual chatting is running over the bottom of the inner box line, and the names listed of whose is chatting starts right away, directly over the chatting box for me to type in. tried going out and back in, didn't work.....I don't want to worry about it right now, I need to start my chosen tasks, so I will start by listing all I want to do.....
straighten upbath, wipe down counters, wipe down toilet, wipe floor around toilet
whats for dinner?? chicken in butter sauce, mashed potatos, carrots and onions
have regular water breaks check check
think about what I am eating, what is the food, how will it make me feel physically after I eat it? is that feeling worth its weight??
I'm pretty happy with what I accomplished today. Tomorrow the upbath and my room will recieve attention,as well as some sewing that needs to be done for next saturday.

I'm late checking in but was actually early to work. I've been to the gym, read new email, checked calendar, had quiet time AND made my todo list. Not bad for a monday morning.
Yesterday I did not check it because we went to visit our daughter on the spur of the moment which took most of the day. We had a nice time and I read a book and napped in the car while DH drove. It was a good day.
But today is back to work day, so here goes. I have a dr. appt this afternoon, so only working til 1 pm, and I have two work tasks I want to complete before I leave.

Having a hard time getting started this morning. Got to lab late and keep goofing off. I'm going to start by making a schedule for the week, then I'll check back here.
Today I have a decent amount of non-work stuff to get done, but I'm going to hold off on putting that down here until I get done w/ work, so I'm not tempted to get distracted w/ that. Today work MITs are to:
*Start VAD/RA proposal
*Think and read about what I would expect in embryo, make a list of questions for MG
*email DG and JA
*Write up FGF lit search res
Other tasks:
*Read 2 gen-interest papers
*Finish VAD?mut graphs
Right now, I'm going to start VAD/RA proposal. Will work on that for about an hour, then have lunch.
Made some progress on VAD/RA proposal, then had lunch and then zoned out for about 30 min.
I want to work on the VAD/RA proposal for another couple of hours. Here are some specific tasks I'd like to get done
*Write a brief introduction to my expt. plan
*Lit search on canonical response genes for retinol/retinoic acid
*Get "measuring gene expression" book from the library
*Read review on RNA-seq
*Look at VAD data to identify top changing genes and number changing at each pt.
I'll go get some caffeine, then get on this. I'll cross off each task as I finish it.
I want to accept and need to accept where I am. I don't have to "like" it, just accept it. I also need to practise gratitude. How quickly I forget. Even though I know I have a daily reprive from picking up__F(x)=9 +3x___., I forget. My disease is counning, baffling and powerful. I cannot take my recovery for granted or minimize God's grace.
