Sarito CL 9H20 & Urgent Request for Inspirational Verses

Hi All,

Haven't done a CL in a while.  I've finished 5 out of 6 of my exams.  Now prepping for my biggest and final performance...

Wondering if any of you could provide suggestions for favorite/inspirational verses from the bible.  I am getting married next month and so I'm also trying to plan the wedding ceremony, etc. all at the same time.

Of course, I procrastinated on this as well... though it is supposed to be an enjoyable activity!!

Suggestions greatly appreciated!  :)

self-care: run in park (or if it keeps raining, indoor exercises)

school: coaching; review accomp part of both Mo & Bl; Ba; Maza; photocopy accomp parts to leave w/accomp

house: clean bathroom & floors; vacuum

congratulations sarito

My fav topics, love and weddings! I design for weddings for a living :)

My 2 favorites (love all the suggestions so far2)

"Love never fails" 1 cor 13:8

"For I have found the one whom my soul loves" song of soloman 3:4

If you need any tips or help with your program just let me know! :)

thanks byGodsGrace!

Wow, I have some great material now.  I'm going to look those up too.  Thanks!  Very cool profession, by the way.  What a gift you must be to many frenzied couples!! Smile

your welcome & tk you

for the beautiful compliment :-) It is a very cool profession that I am grateful for!

I wrote this yesterday but internet went down before i posted so I did the abbreviated version! Was going to encourage you to enjoy this time and don't do as I did on my wedding - procrastinate - surprise, surprise! I waited so long to do my program I ended up having to just not do them - funny that I do other people's for a living now! Seriously, this is a once in a lifetime special time for you so do all that you can to not be stuck doing programs or assembling favors or anything else the week of when you should be enjoying all of the wonderful bride pampering things!!

If you get stuck I can send you some easy ideas or tips for anything you need to get you going! If God blesses me to meet someone else, I will enjoy my next wedding more and ask for help and be early with things - oh and I was late to my wedding too - imagine that! Good thing I found PA, maybe I can do better for next one!

wedding inspiration

I love the Song of Solomon: my father performed our wedding ceremony and read it.

Another I really like is this:

I Corinthians 13:1-13
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

thanks e

Thank you for sharing these powerful verses!

Congrats and Luck

First congrats on up and coming wedding and Super Good Luck on last exam.

Two of my favs that are very common.

Phil 4:13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me

Isaiah 40:31 Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.

"If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me. While not a quote from the bible, still yet the bee is one of Gods amazing creations and so are we. It encourages me to realize that God created me and that locked inside of me I have the potential to use what he has given me just as the bee does The link below will take you to a spiritual message that parallels with "bee" behavior.

Last I am a huge Peele fan. When I need motivation I just read his quotes until I find one that hits the spot. While biblical verses are important God also works through people such as Peele.
