We must gather
all our courage,

Sail our ships
out on the open sea,

Cast away our fears!

Ag ci 5:30pm and 10:55pm

I've been disconnected since Friday night for my sabbath - also tech advised my 5-yr old laptop is now the e-quivalent of an organ donor ... He gave me some pointers, and today I bought a new laptop rather painlessly. He'll install it Monday but meanwhile he freed up a couple of clogged arteries or something in my old laptop so I can still do a few things.

Already done today: church, bought laptop, nice lunch, all with J. Power-cleaned the house (while J napped of course lol). Decided (100th time) it's crazy to have carpets, wallpaper, upholstery and popcorn ceilings with 2 long-haired pets in a warm climate - wtf were we thinking?! sigh.

Still need to: call sponsor. Call Mom. Finish updating my expense report (not even because it's due, but just because I'm afraid I'm going to lose all those little receipts). Review the RFP and write outline for discussion Monday. Check Journal for billable hours last week. Review notepad and schedule coming week to get 80 honest billable hours.  Bedtime 10pm.

10:55pm - didn't do so well. very tired tongiht, and high pain levels. grateful for the light rain b/c we need it, but it sure makes me hurt! probably overdid on the housecleaning too. I am tempted to work-binge but instead I am telling myself that it's ok I didn't do everything on my list, that tomorrow is another day.

It's hard to tell when I am indulging my procrastination addiction, and when I am just being realistic about my own limitations.

safe trip recy!

Didn't want to "reply" since it looked like you were updating on your post throughout the day...but DO want to wish you happy travels. Hope you'll get chances to connect with us from the road.  Enjoy!

Journey 1 pm

Good morning!

Worked last night til 5 am - BUT the big crunch at work is over and mom and dad are both stable, so I can take some time to relax today.  Dinner is in the crock pot, but I do need to make a run to the grocery store.  I'm low on money because of having to sign dd up for the new insurance but at least it wasn't $1500 like Cobra wanted.

I'm going to relax and drink coffee for another half hour then get my a$$ in gear and stay motivated for 4 hours or so with groceries dinner and laundry.  Then I'll crash again.

See you in the chat box in half an hour or so.

Jo

Saturday was computer free for me, which is always a good thing for me!  The only thing I really need on the computer is to check in here, but I spend so much time in other areas, I end up procrastinating!

I have been working my timer and two tasks, and it seems to really be working for me.  I feel so good at the end of the day, and I have accomplished, but I am not really tired or drained.  I will keep working this format, no need to change it!

Today kitchen and dining room floors need to be cleaned thoroughly, with neatening upstairs, living room and laundry will be the secondary tasks. I have good music playing a bit loud and the sun is shining...........and my timer just went off!

Til later   :)

Today was pretty good.  I foloowed my 10 min 2 tasks format, and got lots done again.  Went for a walk with fam, kids rode therir bikes.  Even did some test pain in bedroom, discovering that I really want a very light light colour.  A light fresh white with a bit of colour - but how can I get small amounts of paint to check colours without spending an armload of money??   Ah well.

Tomorrow I hope to accompish keeping the kitchen shined, laundry cycle completed, and the big task - starting in on my disaster room.  I have some easter projects to complete before we decorate on April firstm and with all this positive energy flowing, I might actually finish them!!

Have a good Sunday all!

Recycler CI 5:15am EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

I am feeling more like myself today.

I will still try to have a quiet day. I need to write a short newsletter article. I need to continue packing for my trip. I need to color my hair. I will continue working on these things, and maybe update my CI in a bit ;)

6:35am. Packing for my trip. Most of the clothes & other items are laid out. Socks: I have enough socks for my trip. I have enough socks for today and Monday. In addition to those, somewhere around the condo I have a whole bag of Brand New socks that I can be wearing this Tues, Wednesday, & when I get back from my trip. ((sigh)) Where is the bag of new socks? ((hunts through 3 rooms & 2 closets)). I moved in the new condo last October. I remember seeing them around since then. ((sigh)) ((looks one more place)) nope. ((looks one more place)) yay! oh my gosh, Pro Buddies, you did it!!! I had typed the first part of this paragraph because I was giving up; then whie typing it thought of 2 last places to look, and the socks were hidden in the back of a drawer of some drawers I never use!!! Whew!!! Yay, now I have enough socks for the gym this week and for when I get back! :) Yay! :) What would I ever do without you guys & gals?!!! Next: I still have some things to do, but I am going to take a little break first, to chill out after all the hubbub about the socks.

[humor] When I was taking the new socks out of the bag, I noticed there was a small scrap of paper in the bottom of the bag. Pulling it out, it was a torn scrap from an old to-do list from last year. It said "upon return, put away" [whichever item the torn-away portion had said]; then the next line said "Post on Procrastinators." lolol Which is kind of humorous to me, because I wasn't finding the bag at all until after I started typing the above paragraph when I was giving up on looking. lolol

7:30am. My bags are packed for my trip later this week. Thursday at 3:30am all I have to do is pack my tolietries, put food in the cooler, take a jacket, and start driving :) Next: pack my gym bags.

8:05am. Gym bags are packed for Mon-Wed this week. Today I may also go to the gym, so I have packed that bag as well. I still need to do several things around here before deciding when to go. Next: I need to fix something else to eat.

2:25pm. I have colored my hair and I am back from the gym. I researched, wrote, & turned in the newsletter article. I fixed & ate lunch. I've done so well today, I can't imagine that I need to do anything else lol! Well, we'll see if I can get into anything ;)

4:55pm. Typed out driving directions for my trip (Important!) Wrote a couple emails to friends. Still kind of goofing around. Maybe need to fix dinner soon. Call Dad later.

Have a great day! :)

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

Pyrotecher 12:05am PDT CI

Had a reasonably productive Saturday, ended up with Saturday night off.

Wife was interested in a movie and it's easy to justify blowing off time when it's mutual.

The potential pitfall is when you know that you really don't have time to blow off and need to be up front about that even if it is disappointing to your significant other.

In this case, the need to spend a little time off together seemed justified (and the time was available).

Just gotta remember to get some sleep tonight and be productive tomorrow.

Thank for the starter movingalong - praying to cast away fears!

Word and prayer for the day: Proverbs 17:22 amplified  “A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing…”

I choose joy today, help me to enjoy everyday life, have faith and give myself a break!

I have found choosing something consciously like this very helpful, have moments that aren't joyful, but overall more aware and more prayer and more joy - grateful :-)

Music: church

My to do list:  MIT… be of good cheer, enjoy the day!

Read Bible/Pray

Breakfast

Church on time 9:30a

Wasn't on time, but earlier than last week, so progress not perfection! Got to attenda divorce care class today and learned a lot and helped reinforce the idea to take it easier on myself, recovery here and in my emotions is a process and hard at times, not something I can skip over and avoid the pain of - going through it without numbing it leads to healing! Also got answer to prayer in the planning struggles I've had, don't have all the answers but got a clear understanding of how to write out an overall plan/vision. Believing God to help me with plan for implementing it all daily next.

call c/m, cook  (going to do this now while I cook, feel more able to make call after church)

Church 6p  (debated going, can find more things to do, but good for me and want to go, so going! Funny how I don't second guess most things as could be doing something else, unless I am doing something needed, like church or a meeting, or prayer, then suddenly motivation to do all sorts of things on an off list!)  Glad I went :-)

that's so true
