Falcon CI Sunday night
Hi pro buddies,
I have a few things I need to do before I go to bed. I was hoping to use the chatbox, but for some reason it's not letting me in, so I'll do a few mini-check-ins here instead.
First up: tidy up the kitchen. Ready, set, go!
Falcon
Being 10:05pm Sunday (GMT) {What is Cl?}

Didn't play any video games since last post.
Got 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 done. Going to Meditate and finally come to my most challenging task: Studying.
All that I've done so far, makes me feel a lot lighter, happier.

You said you were only going to post on weekends, so it'll be great to hear from you next sat. you really seem to have gotten the hang of the check-ins. bravo.
hope to see you again!

"fall down seven times, get up eight" - japanese proverb
hi Being!
Welcome, glad to have you :)
"CI" is check-in (and "CO" is check-out)
While I'm explaining acronyms, two more that sometimes confuse people are:
"MIT": most important task
"MUT": most urgent task

Recycler CI 1:40pm EST
Hi Pro Buddies!
Yay, my friend has gotten the Internet Adapter to work on my home computer CPU, so now I have "free wi-fi" at my new condo! :) Wheee!!! :)
So far, "free" wi-fi means ... really slow connection, not cooperating all the time with on-line interactivity, and it can kick me off at any time! lol ((sigh)) However, Free is good, so I will take it!
In the next number of days, my friend will help me evaluate any wi-fi security issues ... ;)
CI: Triumph of the day - wi-fi hooked up means that I can now do my PA CI on weekends, and also on evenings! :D I've been limited to end-of-workday CI's for a while. Those kind of CIs are ok, but I have missed my Pro Buddies!!!
This weekend I've also made some brownies, and went to social activities last night and this morning. For the rest of the day, I need to do some laundry and wash dishes.
With the wi-fi's tendency to kick me off, I will have to evaluate how to do my weekend CI's. Maybe I can type them in WordPad first, then cut & paste into the dialog box? I will have to try that on future times and see if the computer lets me.
Have a great night, everyone1 :) Hugs! :)

This is really frustrating...I'm feeling a lot of resistance today. I've already wasted about an hour websurfing and sleeping in, now I have only about an hour to work before church.
I'm going to try to figure out bug in my data analysis, and send Mark and email. Then I'm going to read part of my sig/sys book on the way to church. I have a meeting after church, so I should be back around 4 or 5. When I get back, I'll check in, make a plan for what I want to accomplish in the next week, and get back to work.

I've been going really slowly today, but at least I'm going.
I figured out the bug in my data analysis, read some sig/sys on the way to church, went to church+super-long mtg after church, came home, left a message for my parents, checked email, now it's time to work.
I'm meeting a friend for dinner tonight, but I want to get 30 min work done first...I want to get that email sent to Mark and start drawing up a schedule for next week.
movingalong checks in
Hello all !
My computer is still broken.
This has been a difficult week. I've been trying to repair my computer. But I've been overfocussed on that, and procrastinating on other more important things.
Sigh.

Note: I don't want to create a feeling of "obligation". Many of us suffer from issues with "Demand Resistance", and obligation would just make things worse.
Also, I wanted to make it clear that we don't take attendance.
Each person is welcome to come or not come according to their own inner guidance -- i.e. the Higher Power of their understanding.
It works when we "work it". Let's do whatever it takes to find recovery. All are welcome.

Great article chickadee! I'll try and get the whole scientific article via my university, if anyone was interested in reading it, I could email it to you. (Not sure if that's ok with copyright-stuff, though ...)
