Welcome to Sunday                                             keep starting....                 many drops fill a bucket

Recycler CI 3:55pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies and Snoopy! :)

Today I got up in time to cook breakfast, run the dishwasher, and go to my morning meeting. After getting back, I had enough energy to do settling-in MIT's in the kitchen. Over days/weeks/months I will probably get everything in the best location for whatever it is, but right now just getting it into a cupboard is good! ;)

Then I heated lunch, read a little bit, and took a mini-nap. I'm over at the rental condo now. I've carried out some more boxes to the car, and now having a little computer time. After this, will I drop some things off at Goodwill or wait until tomorrow?

Tonight: putter some more around the new condo. Write list of things to discuss. Call dad at usual time.

Should I go to the gym in the morning? Not sure. Will decide later.

Have a great night, everyone! :)

Have had a busy morning (church stuff+dealing with snow), friend is coming over in 45 min, have a bunch of stuff I need to motivate myself to do in that time:
*Make bed, do breakfast dishes
*Bday card for friend
*Email TH about computer
*Pick up a few things from grocery store

And later this evening, I need to revew 1 paper, clean my kitchen and make a plan for documenting webmotifs.

Starting with bed, bfast dishes and card.

After hanging out with my friend this afternoon/evening, I goofed off for an hour, and now am tired and don't feel like working. But I'm going to push myself a bit. (Step by step). I need to:
1)Review 1 paper (30 min)
2)Make documentation plan (20 min)
3)Email TH (5 min)
4)Pack (15 min)
5)Clean kitchen (20 min)

This is totally doable...I'll work in the chatbox to stay on track and update when I accomplish each task.

Didn't review paper, but did the rest.

Night, all!

movingalong - computer still broken

Hello all !

My computer is still broken.

I miss you all. I have not been able to read any posts for some time now. I have limited internet access at various locations on other people's computers.

Sending out love and hope to all in need!

I will try to find a public computer today with chat access -- in order to attend today's 12-step online meeting.

Hope-Faith CI 8:15

I slept in this am but it is all good. Today I wont to do anything but follow my routine. I feel because I have had such a productive week that I deserve to not follow my routine. However at this point I am in a recovery stage and I need to maintain what works and what is familiar. So first on the list is my am routine.

CI when I get done.

CI 9:50 most of am routine is done I have 3 task that I have not done I will come back to them in about 30 min. Son is up and I am going to go and play Star Wars with him on his Playstation. Then move back into my routine then project for the day.

CI 11:20 Next on my list to do is to begin work on "Operation Put Away Christmas" Today's focus is the big Christmas Tree.

  1. Make another pot of coffee
  2. Move clutter around so that I have a place to put the ornaments when I take them off the tree.
  3. Remove ornments from tree
  4. Get boxes
  5. Box up ornaments Working on last box now -- on the home strech
  6. PM routine

CI when I get some accomplishments under my belt.

CI 12:55 Progress is good and motivation level is high. Think I will take a 15 min break and knit a few rounds on scarf. Would like to have it finished by Wednesday. Did knit scarf is about a foot long. I might just meet my Wendnesday goal.

CI 5:00 almost finsihed boxing up ornaments have about 20 min or so to go. Then I will move into my pm routine

CI 6:20 a little later getting finished with Operation Pack Up Christmas but I am done for the eveing. Tomorrow I will box up village and take down tree. Next is my pm routine

CO 9:05 Checking Out for the night. Very productive day and feel good about what I got accomplished today. Next I will spend  a few min reviewing task for tomorrow shower and then kint the night away.

Weekly online 12-step P.A. meeting in "meetings chatbox"

Procrastinators Anonymous weekly 12-Step meeting in "meetings chatbox".

Meeting is held:

  • Very early Monday morning in Asia/Australia/NZ

Note: I don't want to create a feeling of "obligation". Many of us suffer from issues with "Demand Resistance", and obligation would just make things worse.

Also, I wanted to make it clear that we don't take attendance.

Each person is welcome to come or not come according to their own inner guidance -- i.e. the Higher Power of their understanding.

It works when we "work it". Let's do whatever it takes to find recovery. All are welcome.

e's new sunday

am grateful to be here this morning and infinately grateful for 12 step fellowships. I have been feeling very sentimental lately, which is a good thing: I am not isolating anymore, and am, in fact, reaching out to old friends who I love who I have lost track of for so very long. That feels good.

There are piles of items all over the living room this morning which I am in mid-sort for. I would like to find a place to keep those things which are to be help onto and deal with them. I think I will support myself with flylady this morning and also the chatbox.

I startedc talking about procrastinatorsanonymous in other 12 step meetings during my shares and it is helping me. Other people seem to relate to these behaviors in those meetings which feels very good.

Thank you, Constance, for my new quote.
