drun5 CI, 2:30pm EDT

I am embarrassed to say yesterday did not go too well, partly because I did not include my next (hoped for) CI time; and est. of time blocked out, at least to my next ~ 3MIT’s. I tried to include that today; it took longer to do the MIT ToDo list that way, but I can see how it might reduce procrastination? --I planned my next CI for 4pm. Thank You so much, I hope everyone is finding some time to enjoy the weekend.

MIT #1: Update/Revise MIT’s from yesterday’s PA CI ; --Map out time blocked to next ~ 3 MIT’s; --Post on pa.org with my next CI time. (DONE w/ this post)
MIT #2: --Write draft of brief email/letter to LD –confirm em, -catch up, -ask for r. , -say will write more soon with cv and more news. (work on for 20min to continue).

MIT #3: --Ck hum web site for my cv; -write follow up em if necessary (try to do in 20 min).
((try for next CI at 4pm))

MIT #4: -- Get file and paper work form out for hum v. form, -prep sect needed for dr m.; -prep to send if completed.

MIT #5: -- Reg for acls in Sept at HN online. (20 min to complete).
MIT #6: -- run errand to store for grocr. (block ~ 60 min).
MIT #7: -- Make calls to friend(s), family.

(possibly MIT #8 tonight; but prob tomorrow: --Write draft of brief em/letter to ED, –confirm em, -catch up, -ask for r., -say will write more soon with cv and more news.) (work on for 20min to continue).

Falcon CI Saturday

Hi everybody,

Happy Saturday! Things to do:

Shower/change -- DONE. 12:40 Going to go stretch my legs now. Not going back to bed, not going back to bed, not going back to bed (the cat is snoozing on the sofa looking totally blissed out, the wicked little temptress!)

Go stretch my legs -- DONE -- actually took a proper walk instead of waiting to do that later, because they're predicting rain later.

Practice music -- DONE 2:20, but I need to do some more later in the day

Work on paperwork

Call friends about travel date

Call other friend about hiking date

Call third friend to say hello

Work on paperwork some more (best if I break this into 20 minute bits or so)

Clean toilet

Take a walk -- DONE

Do some laundry

That should be enough to keep me out of trouble for a while. I have a feeling there's something I'm forgetting, but I'm sure it will come to me.

Falcon CI -- that's what it was

I knew I'd remember something else for today!  Gotta do a library run & take my books back.

So, next:

  • Eat lunch
  • Gather up books & go to library
  • Work on paperwork
  • Call friends about travel date
  • Call other friend about hiking date
  • Call third friend to say hello
  • Work on paperwork some more (best if I break this into 20 minute bits or so)
  • Clean toilet
  • Take a walk -- DONE
  • Do some laundry

Onward. . .

Falcon CI Library addiction

O.k., I should probably just never go to the library, because then I come home with armloads of books.  And of course when I get home, I'm like a kid with a new toy, and just have to sample them.  So I just spent over an hour and a half browsing (on the sofa, next to the cat, who is still curled up sleeping!)

But that's o.k.  It's the weekend, and reading is a good thing.  I just have to be sure and make my phone calls this evening, and either do some paperwork tonight or get to bed early enough that I can do some before my class tomorrow.

Falcon

I'm glad you found some books you like :)

Hi Falcon!

I'm glad you found some books you like :)

At least the "cost" of the books is free! :)

Have a great day! :)

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

Free library books

Well, at least they're free as long as I don't forget or procrastinate taking them back on time!  But this time I only owed 20 cents in fines -- not bad!

Hey, self!  If you're not going to do something useful or interesting, go to bed!

(self:) Oh.  O.k.

Good night!

pro's CI - 11:15am

I had a good start to my day. I got up very early, went to a 7:30am meeting, then had a light breakfast at my favorite cafe (sitting at the communal table discussing politics and other things), and then stopped at the Farmer's Market before coming home. I'm going to have something to eat now, and then start on chores.

Hi Pro Buddies!

What a Happy threadstarter today :) Thanks, Kromer! :)

I'm on the tail-end of a migraine that started yesterday, so I didn't check in last night. The headache & nausea are easing off today, but I am still going to take it easy. Remodeling at work was causing paint fumes, & I think it was either that or maybe I ate something that caused a little bit of a toxic reaction for me.

Fortunately this morning I have felt well enough to already accomplish the following: bike ride, bought item at yard sale, bought provisions for weekend, put gas in car, washed/dried 2 loads of clothes. Next: decide whether to get it in gear (low gear) for the rest of the day, or a combination of that & taking it easy ;) Depending on which one I choose, I *might* update my CI again later :)

Have a great day, everyone! :)
