Recycler CI 5:45pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

My short work week is going well, as I hope to have everything finished by 5pm tomorrow before I go on vacation Thursday :)

Today: projects at worked, picked up pre-order at local store, lunch at restaurant. Kept chipping away at projects; eventually got many of them done ;) Drove home. Next: hang out around the condo until time to go to my other support group meeting. I can find something to do -- if I want to ;)

9:30pm Wow, had a great support group. Feel totally jazzed. Have to calm down to go to sleep soon lol. Talk to you later! :)

Have a great night, everyone! :)

Recycler

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

I feel some acceptance building that I am just not an early starter. Since I am self-employed it really doesn't matter when I work, as long as I am not impacting clients or colleagues. I struggled with depression feelings this morning until Husband had a health crisis. It was resolved OK within an hour but now I am a bit restless waiting word from my elderly Dad's aneurysm surgery in another state. He has mid-stage Alzheimer's so this is scary, may send him right into end-stage. Mom and my sisters are there but I need/want to be 2 places at once, and that is always immobilizing for me. Trying to focus on gratitude and trust. I want to think, talk and walk as a woman of grace and dignity no matter what happens. With my HP and support systems, I know this is possible. Thanks for being here, my dear PA-pals. MITs:

  • Book my own overdue healthcare appointments! DONE!
  • Spend 1 hour on PEP project (keeping promises!)
  • DWS studio time - Rescheduled for tomorrow.
  • Spend 1 hour reducing Outlook Inbox to 1-screen.

Dad update: the stint-type solution did not take but they want to try another angle possibly Friday. His mental state unclear for awhile yet. At least now he's out of OR I can concentrate on a few things.

it is good to see that you wrote DONE

It is really encouraging to see that you wrote DONE beside one of your things for the day.  I mean for me to get one thing done would be a miracle.  I guess the added weight doesn't help and that is another thing that should be on my list everyday, do some type of exercise, oh Lord that would really be a miracle, ha.  I am proud though to see DONE by something though on anyones list, it really shows me that this must work.  Thanks for the encouragement.

thanks christy

I got stubborn tonight and wouldn't give up until I had done at least one more, even though it is way late. Actually I might be procrastinating going to bed!

You and your family will be in my prayers :)  You have a lot going on around you, and you seem to be handling it all and getting work done, too.  Hang in there !

Journey 1:30 Thanks Clem, Take, Ag, and others

Thanks to you guys for being here as my cheering section as I learn to telecommute!

Today's been easy so far, I've been in meetings all morning, and working with a coworker this afternoon via phone and netmeeting. So, no temptation to procrastinate today! The lesson learned here is to interact with my coworkers as much as possible.

But, today has gone well so far except I still haven't taken a shower (ewwww!)

    working from home

ok, I get the "ewww" but still...the ability to work scrungy sometimes is one of my favorite things about working from home!:-)

    re: working from home

Yes, it's nice not to worry about hair, make-up, or proper undergarments!   I really should bathe though lol!

Good morning all. Hope you are doing well today. The forecast is for thunderstorms here, and there's some outdoor work on my slate. Perhaps I can work between them.
I'm in the midst of my morning routine and craving more coffee, but I think I'll use it a a reward for doing something or two on today's list.
    To do:
    (X)morning routine
    (X)spiritual time
    (X)order supplies
    (X)put trash out
    put kitchen more in shape
    (X)do a goodly part of project A
*X(do enough to commit myself to project B
do enough to project C to prevent guilt
    (X)tidy workshop
    (X)check in later

    nice work lark

look at all those X's. I should be so lucky!

yep, that lady is funny. Good luck w/ telecommuting. It *could* be a procrastinator's worst nightmare, but i think you're off to a good start ;)

    5 min pa.org time - DONE :)

    quiet time start at 8:02.

8:03: it's amazing how easily i can write that, but then when i go to actually do it, i feel the resistance & dread. Oh well, this is my life...

8:56: i'm back. did interruptions w/ the kids and had b'fast. And 75% done w/ my quiet time. gal 3:3 popped out at me as (it was quiet when i was not w/ the kids).

them i'm off to rigid work schedule for hours...

cl ci - excellent work day

i had a non-procrastination day at work. Thank god for them at least occasionally.

But i was working w/ people all day, so i couldnt actually let them see me get distracted right in front of them, while we were working on something! lol

anyway, after my long day i enjoyed my time w/ my family.

And now SO and i are going to do something fun.

So pretty good day for clement. yea!

    yay for clem!

Good morning!  I love being the thread starter on Tuesdays!   The get back to work lady always makes me laugh.

Telecommuting today . . . will be posting frequently!

I got up at regular time and went to the gym.  I'm going to to do my 20 minute day-starter, then take a shower and get dressed in "work from home" clothes.  And maybe eat some breakfast.
