I really need to pay bills before going away for the day tomorrow. I should pay them and then get right to bed, but I'm resisting like a son-of-a-gun, and am afraid I'll get to bed late & find myself dashing around to get ready in the morning (and the bills still not paid!)
O.k., here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to set out everything for paying the bills: bills, envelopes, checkbook, stamps. Then I'm going to jot down everything I can think of that I need to do to get ready to go out in the morning. When I get that done I can spend 6 minutes surfing the web (I'll set a timer) and then I'm getting my bod into bed. I'll still have to do stuff in the morning, but at least I'll be prepared and not so much in headless chicken mode, and I'll be getting enough sleep.
Today: walked, gym, work, check on certification for continuning ed, did errand, walked home, ate dinner, washing/drying/putting away clothes, ran dishwasher, washed face & moisturized; called Dad; re-charging cell phone.
Next: I have to decide where to store 3 laminated posters (probably up to the 3rd floor ;) Unload clothes dryer and put away clothes; brush & floss teeth. Then I want to read a chapter in my recovery literature books, but I also want to look at a library book that I will be returning tomorrow ;)
So I'm just kind of coasting until time for bed ;)
Gee, I'm tired this morning. I turned in late last night and dozed later this morning. One thing today is to clean up a bit around here--both in and out. Things aren't horrible (yet), but today's schedule will give me a few gaps for that. Six weeks ago my doctor told me to lose 10 lbs. this year, and it seems I've gained three in six weeks. Hmmm. Time to put drinking water back on the list and make a salad for lunch. (No dressing, just lemon juice). Today: morning things drink water (till E tells me to stop!) spiritual time go to bank order supplies finish project A clean up around here next section of project B slip in project C (similar to B) return movie call future client to just say "Hi." sort project D (client D visiting this weekend) check in around lunch
Lark, sadly I won't tell you to stop. Here are some hints about how to do it so you are less hungry: put a pitcher of water (560 ml) next to your bedside with a glass. When you wake up in the morning drink the water at room temp: it is easier to drink more when it isn't icy. Drink it before brushing your teeth and wait 45 minutes before you eat anything.
If nothing else your skin will thank you, but I think you will find you will be less hungry (and also be more aware when you are thirsty instead of hungry. At lunch drink warm liquids and wait two hours before drinking anything after meals. The days I do this I feel more balanced.
Good Friday morning! I have to work this weekend but still glad it's Friday.
I've been to the gym, "only" 2 minutes late for the spinning class that I'm normally 5 minutes late for, I guess that's progress, eh?
I've read email but not processed. Next on the agenda is to get a cup of coffee and set my MITs for the day. Then, process all email GTD style and then get back to work on my changes for the weekend.
Enjoy your Friday all!

Had a really good day yesteray (got through everything on my list!), hope today is as good.
Next up: *Read biochem paper (got 2/3 of the way through before class) *Put up note for food delivery people *Go to class 10-12 *Figure out whether I need to go home to let the food order people in
Other things that must get done today: *mtg with lr *call or email parents to worry about summer plans... *laundry (started) *organize papers/binder *youth group *clean up code for getting test data sets *email A
I'd also like to either ->put away food order, clean kitchen or ->go to lab, do Lowry (depending on whether someone else can put away the food order for me)
kay, I have procrastinated on coming here, so it took me an hour to catch up on all your posts! I am afraid I can't afford the time to do that, so I am going to make a promise to myself that I will let the past go in the future (and please forgive me if I am not as up on what is going on in your lives). Too much of a good thing is not good for me!
Today,
pay ote bill: procrastinated and the telephone is off now (yikes!) pay other bills (I forget about them!) set up outlook, so I don't forget (one aspect of not being in my office) send in overdue paperwork! get to work on time! birthday present for A decide on whether I can afford to go on vacation this week or not
I had a decent day today, but could definately have done more. I was late to work this morning because I spent too long here and got out of the house late to pay the phone bill: note to self: don't spend more than 10 minutes here in the mornimg! My son turns 18 today (Saturday) and I am in denial. My spouse wants to go away and I would rather stay home to get things accomplished. I want to say here that I am caught between my desire to please him and the desire to take care of myself and don't know what to do. I had wanted to get things done on my practicum so I could go away next week and relax, but hate the strife. I guess I will turn it over to HP and see what happens.
There are several things that must be done in order to get out the door for the trip: things to mail, deposits to send, money to transfer, bills to pay and laundry and packing. I also need to check on my nightguard to see if I can take it to the dentist.
Morning! Here's my first book end list. I'm going to try not to jam everything that I have to do in one day. It will be hard though because I have a lot to do.
Try to finish my senior paper go to both my 11am and 1pm classes attend my appointments at 3 and 4:20 go to the bank fax my role sheet clean my room do my dishes Laundry Begin my research paper by brainstorming and reading the books I have Write one poem Call my Parents finish my world lit paper thats all I have. Well, I have to go.
