Recycler CI 8:30pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

Today:  walked, gym, work, did other Continuing Ed sign-up, scheduled rental car for next month's Continuing Ed location, walked home, cooked dinner, ran dishwasher; washed, dried & put away 1 load of clothes, read recovery literature, brushed & flossed teeth, washed & moisturized face.  I still have one or two things to do, then will do some easier yoga stretching and massage my neck & back a little before sleeping.  My neck did a lot better today after I had massaged it a little last night.

Have a good night, everyone! :)

Recycler

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

c ci 8:20pm

pretty good day.  Good progress on my MIT at work.  Did my mid-day dreaded tasks and exercised.  One of my better days.

I couldnt have done it w/o all your support here.  Thanks.

e's thursday

went to doc for referral, made appointment for new meds, napped, rested my tendonitis, sorted out briefcase

would like: laundry put away, kitchen straightened,

microburst.... go to box

e

okay, made it to the practicum box. openned the box, found the standards, now reading the twsp online. ugh. it is just as bad as i had anticipated. but I am actually working on my bloody practicum

i feel your pain

but you're doing the right thing.  A short meditation on Step 3 has been easing my anxiety lately.  I hope you find something to ease yours.  Perhaps what  edge's sig says.  action.

hooray for e working on the practicum!

Journey 1:30

Back from the doc, and had a nice lunch.  Now to get that SM project finished.  I didn't get it finished this morning but I did make a lot of progress so I feel very optimistic about getting it finished soon.
Check back at 2:30

Journey 4:45

I forgot to do my checkin at 2:30 but I did finish the SM thing!

Now I'm working on RA stuff - I'm waiting now for someone else to finish messing around with the server so I can get back into it.

Fairly productive day so far, and the work day is almost over . . . I want to make dinner, do the dishes,  and fold some laundry . . . and I still have to print out the taxes, sign and mail them.

yea jo

SM has been on your list for a while.  I bet you're glad to have it done!!  way to go!

Journey 6 pm

Didn't get a lot done one the RA project but I did work on it.  I still can't get into the server so I'm calling it a day.  Taking a WoW break then making a quick dinner, doing the dishes, and folding some laundry.

Late start for troymac at 4:06 PM

This is my first day on the forum and my first attempt at Book-ending. It is 4:06 PM where I live and I'm starting my day very late.

To do list:

- smsing my girlfriend (I even procrastinate at this!)
- study calculus for 3 hours (1 hour at a time)
- cleaning my pc's desktop

welcome troymac

i have had many a day starting my day in the afternoon.  There's no better time to start than "now", and you are doing it.

Welcome.

Thanks clement!

I did sms my girlfriend (she's coming over for dinner) and I have studied calculus for 1 hour. I'm doing a short break now. Since I'm at my pc, I guess I can take advantage and start cleaning my window's desktop.

troymac 0:28

Cleaned most of the cluter from my pc's desktop but much more important than that, I managed to study calculus for 3 hours today Smile I can't remember the last time I had studied maths for 3 hours in a single day.

Going to watch some TV then off to bed.

yea troy!

wow.  See, this site is magic :)

But, seriously, i hope you feel great about making a dent in your procrastination problem.

see you tomorrow.

8:48am CI for Lark(3:50pm)(5:40pm)

Hi everyone. More than usual of us here this morning, huh? Wednesday's discussion of carrying things over to the next day is interesting. Perhaps we can talk about that in a new topic later. I have a client on the way now, so I'm being brief now.
Today:
morning things
spiritual time
finish work project A
clean workshop (It's very bad.)
start planning next project
play "catch up" with misc. work projects (Make any progress)

check in mid-morning

um...lark...

...is that a list i see with EVERYTHING crossed off?  How dare you!  You put me to shame!  :)

really, tho, three cheers!

Yep, it worked out okay

Crossing everything off seldom happens in my world, believe me. I just passed the "good enough" mark on a couple of things today. I seldom make it close to perfection, but that's life. In AA, we always say "Progress, not perfection."

Journey 8:45

jWorking from home today, taking dd to her PT appt.  After today, she should be able to take herself.

I've read email, and now I'm going to work on the SM project.  I think I can get my part finished before we leave for the doctor.  So I'm getting started right now and I'm going to work steadily until 9:30, then report back that I'm getting ready to leave for the appt. on time.

Getting off the computer NOW and getting ready to leave . . . need to leave in 15 minutes.

kromer 5:10 CI

Finished assignment (I think it was OK, yay!), went to class, then have been doing some combo of bumming around and working on Harambee curric. for the past hour.

Next up:

Update 11:40: Done, now shower and bed, catch up in the morning

Edge's CI - 1:00PM

Morning, all :-)

Kind of discouraged by my lacklustre performance on my lists these past two days, but I'm determined on seeing it through - don't want to leave most of that stuff undone for too long. I did work on my Ar homework last night, but I didn't get to finish it all. My deadline is this Saturday and I've got other assignments to see to, so going to push myself and see if I can get it all done today. Don't want to put any pressure on myself, as that usually brings out my demand resistance. Ah well, we'll see what happens.

What I would like to do today:
- morning med
- kitty litter
- schedule doctor's appointment
- finish Ar homework
- cancel cycling?
- tidy room
- pick up photocopies
- work on Ice's website and newsletter
- reply to Jen
- email scrab.dic. to M
- reply to Morgan
- evening med
