Ok, I've had a good morning, but I need to gear up to complete the following by 6.30pm: * 1 recheck Project 1 * 4 rechecks Project 2 * Get Project 1 tidied up, packaged up, and send it off.
Then: * Coffee meet * Put washing on when I get home * Guitar (I'm trying to do this as a daily thing, even if just for 5 minutes, because I'm a rank beginner)
Now that I think about it... drilling etc will have to wait for tommorow. o_O! :)
I got all the rechecks completed, project 1 was not finished but not my responsibility in that case. Pushed it by nearly missing my bus because I was trying to help it be finished sooner. (Why is current task always more important than future task? Or rather, it isn't - I'm working on that!). But, good thing being, I didn't miss the bus! Whew. Made Coffee meet, just got home, so... washing. And, hey, I think I will do guitar. 5 minutes won't hurt my sleep debt that much, and it's relaxing. :D
All in all, good day. *Such* a good week. Was really tired this afternoon, so, more sleep, but I stayed on task anyway. Wow!
In all my places today people have been doing April Fools jokes lol, so I am glad to finally be home :)
Today I had gym, work. Met with attorney during lunchtime re new will, which I had been putting off since at least January. Work. Did errand re transportation. Picked up prescription. Went to my other support group.
fix computer-done organize workspace-done meet in Cincy with G.- Done Finish taxes- DONE! Pay off debt... I AM NOW DEBT FREE..... YAAAAAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) Kiss everyone I see- done run, run, run! get ready for the pig... call on clients work on chapter 6
e- I'm so glad for you. Things are coming together aren't they? congrats!!!!
well, actually, i did make a tax call today. I can't not count that, because then i would have an exaggeratedly negative view of my own productivity ;)
Hey, you, E, & Douglas (and everyone else working on their taxes!) deserve lots of kudos for working away on something that lots of people have problems procrastinating on, not just us... :)
It is technically Wednesday, but I thought I would recount the day, be grateful and plan for tomorrow.
It was a successful day at work and also at home. I am particularly happy with having pulled together a new display and with the interactive way everyone is pulling together. The displays seem successful, and I am learning a lot bouncing ideas off of V. She is really knowledgeable and respectful, so I am particularly happy to be working with her.
I followed through on the tax issue and now have three things to find out for my accountant in order to be finished with 2007. I am EXTREMELY pleased to find out that 2007 taxes will not hurt financially. I am also EXTREMELY pleased to have this hideous task out of the way. I have always done my own taxes, and have always felt like I had to do them perfectly. Therefore they were a huge trial, as I felt like I ought to know everything about taxes and finances. Giving myself permission to not know everything has been a breakthrough for me. It will be worth every penny to have that weight off my back.
My son got wait listed to a second school and we are waiting on the last school. Then it will be a matter of having to figure out how to pay for it, but the anxiety of the application process is pretty much over. Phew!
I am getting closer to having my desk cleared and having things out of the way so I can focus on just the practicum. And I feel ready to make some progress in it!
I am grateful for my younger son, who is beginning to take more responsibility for his school work. I am grateful to myself for seeing a way to support him in getting up and out the door in the morning without getting upset.
I am grateful for my husband who made dinner again without asking, and who allowed me to take a nap this evening while he did so.
I am grateful for the vacation that is coming up in April.
tomorrow: complete passport information for the vacation and send to ec. water, meds, shower, bed, dishwasher breakfast get stamps to mail overdue stuff from work check schedule on microsoft office and update the calendar pay wind bill get A to make rice dish for dinner from leftovers grill eggplant pack up taxes to put in storage. start practicum logs!
I'm so happy for you! That sounds like a really productive day, and taxes is such a bugbear, I'm really proud for you that you've done so well, and you're so close to having it completed. Have a lovely morning when you wake!
Thanks for today's thread starter. Quite different than our usual cute and cuddly ones! I think I need to make a list of "to do's" for this month somewhere. While last month wasn't bad, alot of things didn't get done very well. But, for today... To do: morning things spiritual time put out trash (and payment) put laundry away focus on my diet plan put table together focus on work project A start work project B clean up workshop a bit get haircut if I go to town work on my monthly goal list check in after lunch
Finished Spanish comp., made about half of pres. slides, walked to school, went to Spanish class. Now I have about 50 min to finish my slides, then I'll check in with a (slightly less last-minute) plan for the rest of the day.
OK, super-urgent stuff taken care of Now, calmer to-dos for the day:
MUST: Email B. to check what she's studying Visualize results from test job Do Spanish HW Practice presentation Read over adipocytes stuff Write 1/2 page Answer questions from TN Last change to NESCent app Email PF Go to bio class.
SHOULD Email about women's lunch Watch spanish movie Fold laundry Biochem textbook stuff
WOULD LIKE TO Have dinner with A! Clean out email Work on integer programming stuff Read biochem T+D paper Finish going over biochem lect. notes.

Then, I'm going to start on my Spanish HW (workbook+textbook reading, will save lab manual exercises until I'm home) Then I'll practice my presentation Then I'll go to lab visualize results from the test job. Should be done about 2, when I need to go to bio class
