chatbox
Pro, is it feasible to set up the who's online box so that we can see it while we are signed in? I often see people on my way in, but can't tell if they are still their when I am here. It would be helpful in terms of trying to use the chatbox.
For anyone interested, I am trying to make it a habit to sit in the chatbox while I am posting: if you would like to say hello, see if I am there and say something: I am hoping the monitoring box will poke me to let me know to say hey.

Just about everything I can think of takes priority over recoding the chatbox to make the history easier to read. Sorry - that's not going to happen. :)

Open the chatbox in a separate window. That's what I do. Not only that, I use a different browser (Mozilla) so it doesn't affect my IE window. The direct URL for the chatbox is:
http://www.procrastinators-anonymous.org/chatbox/popup
Just open a second browser window and type in the URL directly.

Sorry I didn't see your question before. I can't configure the chatbox at all. It's written in Flash and I don't know Flash. The best thing to do is open it in another browser window (which I think it does by default when it auto-opens), and preferably open it in a different browser completely. For example, use Firefox for the Chatbox and IE for everything else. Otherwise the Chatbox refreshing makes it keep coming up in front of the other browser window.

clarification
Actually, the chatbox is working okay: what I meant is is it possible to see the currently online list of members when signed onto PA? Before I sign in I might see that you are signed in, or Journey, or Falcon, but once I am inside I can't tell who is online. That is why when I go into the chatbox I am posting a notice so that those who track recent content will see it. (which probably solves the problem even better!)

I despise doing paperwork: it is tedious and boring and sometimes anxiety ridden. For the next several minutes I will be in the chatbox doing paperwork for anyone who wants to work alongside me....

Three of us met in the chatbox today to work on paperwork and it was super helpful. I got more done on my pile today than I have in months, and I filed some insurance claims that are 8 months old. We're doing it again tomorrow, if anyone wants to join in. I'd love to make this an every-weekend thing.
