You Can't Afford the Luxury of a Negative Thought by Peter McWilliams

This is an older book - 1988 - but reading the back really caught my interest.  There are alot of quotes - which I love and it is from the series Life 101.  The cover says a book for people with any life threatening illness  including life.  My procrastination is really effecting my health so that resonated as well.  Has anyone read this?  Did it help?

Negative Thinking

I never have heard of it, but I truly believe that negative thinking causes health problems. She is quite a bit airy-fairy, but Louise Haye writes about the correlations between negative thinking and specific ailments. A friend who is an oncologist believes that negative thinking, particularly resentment, can be at the route of cancer.

Negative Thinking (whoops forgot the spell check)

So far the point being made in the book is that the fight or flight repsonse is alive and well.  And it's killing us.
Quote from Milton:
The mind is its own place and in itself can make heaven of Hell, or a hell of Heaven.

Negative Thinking

I haven't read the book, but the title sounds like something I need to read. I've recently been promoted at work, and I constantly find myself criticizing my performance at the end of every day.  It's draining the hell out of me!
I'll have to check Amazon for this book.
