Saturday 1st July

Hi everybody!

Sorry, I didn't check in yesterday. Before I went to the football (we won again!!! :D ) I got a lot of things done but then had to hurry. I had decided to bake muffins to take along so that's what I did.
The game was quite long and I had my puppy with me. She was all excited after the game because of all the crazy humans shouting so I took her home along the river where she could swim.

When I got home it was already pretty late but I had put my Goretex jacket into the washing machine and needed to make it waterproof which took a while. Also folded my washing and put it away. And I cleaned my sink even though I was really tired.

Today, I have to work.

to do:
- morning routing with make-up
- breakfast
- short walk with DDog -> dogsitter
- go to work

So I might not be checking in for a while. But it is weekend anyway, so maybe everybody relaxes a bit :-)

Have a nice day!

Weekend

Seems like everybody is enjoying their weekend. That's good!

Worked until 3 pm. Had a look around the bookstore and then went home. Short chat with dogsitter and then I watched the last part of the Tour's Prologue.

done:
-morning routine
-breakfast
-DDog->dogsitter
-work

to do:
- finances
- vacuum my apartement
- work on "birthday present" for DSO

Finances

done:

spent 1 1/2 hours on doing june's finances. It is shocking how much I spent - especially on things that I don't want to spend money on (like my car)... I haven't done my finances that detailed in a while. Procrastinated it. But I guess this will help me to spend my money more consciously...

to do:
-walk dog
-vacuum
-work on present
-eat

very behind in financial records!!

I procrastinated in keeping up with my financial records in the past, and now I'm paying for it big-time. I have a huge backlog, and it's very hard to catch up. I haven't filed tax returns in a few years because I don't have the financial records to give my accountant.

Finances

I spend each month on a new 'habit' (although some habits take more than one month to establish) and this month I wanted to focus on doing my finances. I used to be so good at budgeting, and knowing exactly how much I had etc, and then I don't know what happened. I've not got in debt (other than mortgage), but I'd like to be able to plan a bit better - save up to work on the house etc.
