Julie's 9:25 CI

I think I need to worry about changing my bedtime instead of my wake-up time. I can't go to bed at 1:30 or 2 am and get up at 7 am. I don't function well on less than 7 hours of sleep. Also I tend to fall asleep while driving-not good! So I am setting a goal to lay down tonight by 11:45. I think if I can do that I should be better able to get up earlier. We'll see!

procrastinating on going to bed

Several months back we posted about not going to bed early enough to have a good next day.One method is setting your alarm clock to go to bed. It really does work--especially when there are others in the house. They usually respect the darned clock's wishes ahead of a person's! If I'm in a rough space, etc, it'll remind me to stop and turn in. Sounds kinda weird, but it will work.

Bedtime

I need to try this! It is now 11:43 so I am going to post this and go to bed!Smile

bedtime

I hate to even admit this but I go to bed at 9:30.  10 at the latest.

Journey 1:30

Still need to finish that status report, but I made it to the bank and need to get ready for my 2 pm meeting now.

My daughter called me at lunch and decided, over the space of 30 minutes that she was
a) quitting college
b) taking a semester off of college to work
c) staying in college
d) changing her major

My head is spinning!?

Journey

I have two daughters and I had to laugh out loud at this one! My youngest daughter in the course of one day, decided to drop out of the school she was attending that was a few hundred miles from home because she was homesick. She called and said she was coming home and that she had dropped her classes and returned her textbooks. She called back a few hours later and had decided to stick it out until the end of the semester. She had to re-enroll in all her classes and we had to re-purchase the books she had returned a few hours earlier. She has since graduated (in just 2 1/2 years!) and is working as a teacher-so it all worked out well. Children certainly make life interesting!

Journey 10:15

k, email is org'ed, I'm prepared for my 11:00 meeting, and I have started on the status report.  Woo hoo!  Now . . . coffee !

Next up, get as much done on status report as possible before the 11:00, then run to the bank as soon as the meeting is over.

Journey 4 pm

went to the bank, finally put on some makeup, and did the security meeting in which we got loads and loads of stuff accomplished.  hooray for cool security people who try to work with you to make stuff work instead of putting up roadblocks in your way.

Now - have to get that stupid status report finished before I can go home if it takes me until midnight.

journey 6 pm

status rpt done AND a MOLDY FROG HAS BEEN EATEN!
Finished the additional SL form requested by the bureaucracy . . . of course, there will probably be another one after that . . .and another . . and another, but still, this one is done!

Heading for home
