Julie's 10:45 CI

I'm setting a goal to get up by 7 am every day this week and to be caught up on grading by Friday evening. It's a little scary to post this because I'm not sure I can do it, or perhaps I should say I'm not sure I WILL do it. I believe it is doable if I really work at it. I want to get caught up so I can get ready for the holidays and not feel so rushed.
Well, I set my alarm for 7 am, and was awake a few minutes before it went off. I shut it off so it wouldn't wake my husband up and you guessed it...promptly fell back asleep. Tomorrow I need to LEAP out of bed as soon as I wake up! (: I'll grade for about 20 minutes and then try to catch up later in the day.

My day went pretty well, in spite of the late start. I'm going to have to step it up on the grading if I'm going to reach my goal though.

7:30 am CI for Lark

I haven't been posting much lately, and my life is starting to show it. One of my main areas of procrastination is to shift from one task to another (usually from an important one to something less essential). Recently I made a "don't do yet" list. and it seems to help a bit in keeping on track. I'm really blessed lately with alot of work, but I've been sliding to various other projects--especially when it comes time to finish a particular job. Hmmm. Does anyone else do this?

To do:
 routine for the morning
 spiritual time
 finish main project for work
setup and (just) start on next project
 finish edging on house roof
clean out garage for half an hour (set timer)
check in here a couple of times
Have a good day everyone!

movingalong's Monday goals

------------------

Hello all,

(Starting this "Monday thread" on what is Sunday evening in my time zone -- in order to prepare for my Monday.)

Intent is to work a good day at my job, by focussing on the main thing, and not getting bogged down in irrelevant details.

Periodically, I will reflect on my course of action through the day, by reading the excerpt I posted on this other thread here:
