Edge's CI - 1:15AM (Wed)

Hello :-) Thought I'd pop in, post a little update on how things have been going.

First off, the most important item for the day, I went and met with my new boss and finalized my new contract (yep, I got the job  *knocks on wood*). Then I went to my doctor appointment, where I was told more of the same thing: that I'll be ok, I just need to take better care of myself. I'm thinking I'll go back to taking yoga lessons (which I really enjoyed), and maybe invest in a month of personal training, see how that goes.

My writing isn't going so well, mainly because I'm doing so little of it. I've told my friends that I was going to stick to it and see it through, and most importantly, meet the 50,000 words by November 30th. So far I've done 13,000 words. ...Not enough. Way behind. Not good.
My ego depends on me completing this task, for I shall be taunted mercilessly if I do not. That's what you get for shooting your mouth off and talking big

I told my old boss yesterday that I'm going to be resigning. I'd been dreading the confrontation because I thought she'd give me a guilt trip, but it actually went pretty well. She was very understanding about the whole move, which was a relief but also disappointing. I don't know, I guess I thought she'd fight more to keep me with her, but I think she saw that the other job was just too good of an opportunity for me to pass up.  Ah well.

Anyway, everything is going well on my end. Hoping everyone is feeling good and doing well on their to-dos. Also, wishing Pro all the best in his health issue. Hope you're feeling better, Pro *hugs*

Yeah-you made the dreaded phone call! It's funny how such a small thing can be so difficult to do. But it does feel great when you get it done.

Thanks Julie

I feel pretty good that I only procrastinated on that call for a week rather than months or years as per usual lol!
