Saturday 4 August 2007

/files/images/waving_kitten.gifGood Morning.  Happy Saturday!

CI for Lark @ 8:45am(12:15pm)(4:15pm)

Some things are getting carried over from yesterday. I made a decent effort yesterday, but I can't change people, places, or things. I'm looking at areas where I'm having trouble with procrastination still, and there are two main ones. One is house cleaning, and the other is finishing work projects. I used to use Flylady, and that helped a bit with the house, so I'm starting that regime again. With work, I too often start new projects before finishing old ones. If anyone has an advice, comments, etc. to share PLEASE do. On a positive note, the house is generally better than it used to be, and I'm at least starting new projects. Progress, not perfection.
Today:
(X) morning things
(X) spiritual time
(better!)(coming along)finish work project B from yesterday
 (X)go to bank (again)
(X) go to meeting
(X)visit sick relative (somewhat better now)
(X)run errand for supplies and clothing
(some)work half hour on work project A
(alot) sort out house a bit (re-signed already for Flylady)
 begin work project C
 call Mark
 (X)check in again

So far I've emailed solicitor and brother. I've checked the accounts for Mum's will and they seem accurate. It is nearly over and I hate finishing things.

I've done my personal accounts and I can eat this month. Praise be.

The court letter is a reminder that I am a procrastinator and that it continues to cost me.

sending encouragement to rexroth

Rexroth,
I got one legal-financial paperwork thing done last week.  I have many more to do.  You post is inspiring me to not procrastinate any longer about this.  I am also a member of D.A. and know what its like to deal with this stuff.  The financial awareness and the procrastionation issues.

I also want to send you some good vibes from Higher Power -- sending strength that you can get through these challenges.

Best wishes,
movingalong

Thanks movingalong. I've actually done a fair bit today. Sometime if I feel bad I feel as though I might as well do some things that I don't want to do.

I've also reached a rock bottom and have posted about it.

I'n grateful I don't have to face this alone.

Regards Rexroth
