LOL Edge - great graphic!!

This is a great graphic - I gotta upload this to our collection. I have some other things sitting around waiting to be uploaded (who me, a procrastinator?). Really, though, I have a good excuse. I haven't been well. But I'll do it pretty soon. Really! :P

the gift of the thread starter graphic

This is why I so strongly encourage people who start day threads to include a graphic or colored text saying something happy or interesting. It's such a pleasant surprise to come to the day thread and see something like that. It always feels like opening a little present to me.

I used to start most of the day threads when I worked at home, and I tried to put interesting graphics or colored text in there. I haven't been doing that since I got a full time job, though. Still, when I see someone started a day thread with no graphic at all, I try to add one.

Julie's 11 am CI; 4 pm CI

Little things have taken forever this morning and I'm just sitting down to my computer. I have an appointment that I have to leave for at 12:30 so I will work until then. I'm trying not to be discouraged but why does everything have to take SO LONG? It seems like showering, drying my hair, eating breakfast, feeding and walking the dog take forever. I guess it's a good dose of reality for me. Those things can't be done in an instant and usually I pretend they can and then wind up doing nothing productive because I haven't allowed enough time for the "routine" things. Usually at that point I am discouraged and just waste the rest of the day so at least today I'm sitting down and ready to work.
4 pm CI-AAAACK!! Not getting many items checked off, but did get some important ones done. I have to leave to run an errand, but I'm going to work for a bit and will check back in at 4:30.

Priority was/is to get the place clean and ready for the maintenance people. So far I've done everything except the bathroom which I share and I have been leaving it till last as a special treat.

I hate waiting for people. I've much to do and I can't concentrate. Anyway if they come and if they fix things it will be a step forward.

Regards Rexroth

Rexroth 11.18 BST

Bathroom done. It was a job well worth putting off. Now hang about waiting.

Rexroth 15.02 BST

The maintenance person has just been and has cracked the WC bowl trying to screw it down securly (probably not his fault), has fixed a new plug on my sink, isn't doing the window catches now, and is coming back late next week to do the electrics.

I've waited all day for this!

Rexroth 21.51 BST

Well I've had better days and I'm now for bed after prayers and to write my journal.

Edge's CI – 7:05PM

Morning, everyone
Today, my one and only goal is:

- Finish and send channel proposal

Anything else - like eating, breathing, etc - is secondary and should not come in the way of that goal's completion.
Wish me luck.

Edit:
Ok, one exception:

- Get A $65

All the best Edge

Hi Edge,

Wishing you all the best in finishing your proposal and if you can do it and breath as well I'm sure that would be best.

Regards Rexroth

Lol, thanks Rex

Lol, thanks Rex :p So far haven't even gotten around to starting - other tasks "conviniently" keep getting in the way, but I'm on a mission, and I ain't sleepin' until it's done and over with! \m/
