Hi, all. Haven't been on this list for weeks and weeks. Life got REALLY crazy and we finally got to our deadline--putting the house on the market--just barely in time. It involved severe time-bingeing, but whether or not it's "OK" to say this on this list, I'll say it: it was worth it. The house is on the market, it's showing, and people are liking it. It took a huge amount of work, and living in a construction zone for weeks, but we did it.
But of course there's all sorts of stuff to catch up on whenever one time binges, and that is true for me. The first thing, of course, is finances. I haven't looked at them in a month, and today I finally could do just that. But I don't want to! I want to procrastinate on that, or at least do it at home, especially since there's so much else to catch up on.
So that's my share: I have finances to do, and don't want to. When I state explicitly that I don't want to do something, it somehow becomes easier to do.
After that, there's the book I'm reading for a book review. It's in French, so it's slow. But I could do it if I got this $$ thing out of the way. (Or is that a €€ thing, or a ££ thing?)
Hi, Thomas ! Wow - getting a home ready for sale - that's A LOT of work! I've been there, before. Haven't read French since college, but loved it. Good luck!
