Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
For those of you who missed my post last night (which would be all of you, since I posted at midnight on the West Coast), grades are due today. So I stayed up late to grade papers. However, after a lot of procrastinating and napping, I graded only four of them. Then I went to bed, since I just wasn't getting them done. Now I'm REALLY tired. :(
Today, more procrastinating. Didn't meditate yet this morning--bad sign. Just spent an hour on the Web surfing news sites. I'm remarkably well-informed, and the papers aren't graded. A lot of good all that information does me!
My to-do list today is really short:
grade those damn papers grade quizzes turn in grades
Every time I post here, I stop procrastinating. So...off to the library to grade that huge stack of papers really, really fast.
Another week.Seems I could use two till the month's end to be able to cover monthly expenses better. Today: (X)morning things try a little meditation in the afternoon (seems to help) (X)Finish work project A (X)order supplies clean up around outside of house finish project B make gameplan for project C
up prayer reflection meditation
deal with emails phone messages post
leave new answerphone message to person who keeps missing me
read info from fried re her mother's will (there is a lot of it about)
think and respond to brother's email re Mum's will (all is fine or as fine as it could be)
go out to:
church building prayer and reflection
voluntary project last meeting likely to be sad
home and rest
files and craft project (hummm I write this and do I do anything?)
journal
prayer and reflection
bed and sleep
More grading, 7:13 p.m.
Now I'm down to five papers, plus a short paper, and the quizzes. It's down to the wire--really need these in by midnight.
I'm so sick of it!!!

Grading is...
...actually happening. Right now taking a short break. But I'm actually getting them done. OK--back to work.
Grading, 2:30 p.m.
Getting more difficult, though I have only 9 to go. Tired, burned-out, and sick of it. But have to get grades in!
