I'm Changing CI 8:35 PM

There is much I want to change in my life.  For now, for the purpose of this forum, I'm going to keep things simple and focus on developing basic, new, healthy habits and rituals around daily self-care.

For the remainder of this evening:

*Make bed
*Oral Care
*Foot Care
*Drink water.
*Listen to motivation tape.
*Write in my gratitude journal.
*Write three things accomplished today.
*Read newspaper before bed (nothing unsettling)
*Spend quality time with my cat.
*In bed by 10:00 so can get up by 6 a.m.

Thomas C.--Tuesday check-in

Good morning. It's 9:41, and I have already dropped off my daughter, meditated, brushed teeth, finished emailing, planned what I need to do, and supported it by printing out what I need to print. Here's the list:

* grade papers
* rewrite one class lecture
* write up quiz for that class
* rewrite other class lecture
* write up quiz for that class, too

I plan to go back and forth between these projects to make sure I don't time-binge. Right now that topic is "up" for me, as I said in my post last night. I have 23 papers to grade, and doing them all in a bunch is simply impossible for me. But I have to have them to the students tomorrow. So I will do the two lectures and two quizzes in between papers, and see how that goes. And I will take breaks from work in general, at the very least to eat, go to the bathroom, etc., but also to just take a break.

The next set of papers will come in soon, and I need to do it differently. I plan to grade five papers a day. In nine days (eight, plus Sunday, which I'll skip) they'll be done. We'll see how that goes.

Thanks for being there.

Hi everyone. Did okay yesterday. Lately I've been keeping computer time down to nil, and replacing that time with positive tasks. It works. I've found that if I work on two projects at once, I can procrastinate on either with the other one, and work gets done.
To Do:
morning routine
focus on project A, trying to finish it or at least as much as possible
work on project B between times
half hour of housework
