Bud's 5:00PM Check-In

The only thing I accomplished was going to a meeting which made me feel bad; and going for a walk with puppy & hubby.  When I took pup to the park yesterday, I must of hurt my middle finger because it's swollen, and the yoga tape requires lots of use of hands, and I am too depressed about money to work out anyway.  Need another p/t job.  My husband can't get things he wants and deserves and I spend to much $ on groceries.

Spoke to a prospective employer who made me feel real bad by asking me something personal, and of course I'm an open book and then he proceeded to tear me apart for it. Lesson: in the future saying, I hope I don't offend you by saying this, but that's a little personal.

Finish baking from the other day.
 Make dinner.
 Make some work phone calls.

Nice colors Mollie!!

Hope to check-in later for tomorrow.  I guess I am feeling a little sorry for myself but still need a:

AND SEND IT OUT TO EVERYONE WHO POSTED TODAY.

Hugs for you, Bud!

Wishing you a peaceful night and good day tomorrow. I love the bear hug. :-)

Thinking of you

Hi Bud, thinking of you. Wishing you well and there is a job somewhere out there for you. Rexroth

Thanks Rexroth.

Appreciate it.

CI for Lark at 10:00am

I've been feeling a bit discouraged with my posts lately. It seems I should cut and paste the same ones over and over. I usually accomplish most of what I post, but I'm still not satisfied, and there are things on the horizon I feel I should be starting on. Frustrated.

new day, same list

I've had that situation. It caused me to take another look at my list and reassess my priorities. Why am I not getting these things done? Can some of these things come off the list? People's priorities change over time, and what was important once may not be important now.

Mollie's CI 8am

Morning, Rexroth! Nice to see you.

I notice that for the past week or so my procrastination on my writing project has led me to procrastinate on other stuff as well. I know this phenomenon well--I procrastinate on "the most important thing," and then feel that I shouldn't do anything else til I do that, which of course makes no sense. And the stress this has caused me has manifested in nagging neck & shoulder pain all week. I'm someone for whom stress & anxiety usually manifest as gastrointestinal distress, so this neck/shoulder thing is new and I want to stop it as quickly as possible. So, if I'm not going to do the most important thing, I might as well do something else.

To Do:

  • Morning exercises
  • Neck exercises
  • Work on replacing "should" with "want"
  • Prepare project 1 for delivery
  • Prepare project 2 for delivery
  • Lunch w/friend (tentative)
  • Writing project
  • Billing
  • Deal w/family issue
  • Evening routine

Thanks to Bud for making me think to use pretty colors.  Smile

I do the exact same thing. :)

Me, too! We procrastinators see to have a lot in common.

Rexroth 10.38 GMT

Just want to forget the last few days so:

Todo today

up prayer reflection meditation
check emails and phone messages
start legal/admin letters - three in all
start landlord complaint letter
finish washing clothes
tidy up a bit
shop for milk and sugar
get money ATM
be ready to answer phone call from person who offered to sell me machine to use on my craft project
phone friend(s)
prayer and reflection
bed and sleep

Rexroth 22.53 GMT

Well I've got a fair bit done and still don't feel too good about it. I've got to the prayer and reflection bit. Have made some notes for the letters but not started writing them yet and my flat needs more cleaning and sorting. My sleep is more important.

Night folks Rexroth

hi Rexroth!

Glad to see you here. My last few days have been very difficult, too - not so much procrastination-wise, but life has been difficult.
