Sorry my post got carried away for my daily list so I've deleted it from here.
So: I will sit the exam on friday - mostly since I'm being paid to attend by work as part of professional development leave. I will sit the exams again in August/Sept. In the meantime, I will have 5 full on months of study to cover alot of material - it will be hard work. I will have to figure out some way of getting useful accountability and be serious about it so that I can drown out this voice.
In the meantime - I will read some more toxicology that I enjoy reading then sleep. Or try. I have 3 full days left before the exam - aim to finish qs for cardiovasc, nervous system and antibiotics. I'm not sure how as everytime I face the page, I freeze. But I will leave that worry for tomorrow.
Standing in solidarity with you dear unstucking. Your post(s) are brave, full of wisdom, strenght and self awareness. I have nothing to offer you except wishes for all the very best on Friday and in the coming months as you prepare for the next round. As someone who has been on the recieving end of care from doctors in your field for the past three and half years can I just say that there is much more to what you do than a grade. People skills and a love - a calling for what you do is so much more important. Being there- being able to connect aand deal with people with humanity ans awareness as your post suggests you do on a daily basis - that is what I have found to be most important as a person on the other side of what you do. My two cents worth!! Thank you for the work you do and all the hours it takes and for your effort. i will think of you on friday and send you all the very best wishes. You are an inspiration. You should be very proud of yourself in my opinion. xoxo
