Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
I'm continuing to experiment with noticing what helps and what doesn't. Yesterday started out decently but I ended up burning a bunch of time on escape-reading and games in the later afternoon and evening. I hope to do better, today, on combining productivity and enjoyment.
= made or am making progress
= done or done enough
To Do:
Helpful:
Self-Sabotage?
prioritize
clean b. sink
hwash dbr
decide: glasses adjustment today? (no, lost to self-sabotage)
if not, decide: wash hair today? (yes, I'll do this, it gives me more choices for tomorrow)
eat something! (oatmeal!)
teeth, etc.
shower, wash hair, etc.
use eardrops
make shopping lists incl check state of vegies for soup
unload/load dishwasher
decide if shopping fmkt, grocery store today (not fmkt, yes groc store)
pay bill
to P.O to mail bill payment? (postponed)
shopping at grocery store
wash light load incl choli
decide if testing bleach on scarf (possibility postponed due to bingeing)
de-frag and anti-v scan
cook soup & rice (cooked soup but not rice)
cut fingernails
practice w/ eye make-up!
rvw: what are 3 next tax prep acts? (postponed)
make notes re self-help & self-sabotage
QG
use balancer
aim bed by 23:00
take bedtime Rx
set alarm for 8:00
prioritizing first thing?
getting new audiobook to anticipate enjoying (and actually enjoy) during chores?
making this check-in post?
fiddling with formatting of this table (effectively costing me the option of getting my glasses adjusted at Dr. A's, today)
web-surfed during first meal (leading to a bunch of game-bingeing, costing time outside during afternoon)
idea: would having a nicely cleared place to sit down and eat and read printed books help me avoid automatically sitting down at the computer at mealtimes? (worth trying)
to watch about: is it harder for me to go from fiction reading/listening to chores than from nonfiction?
I need better strategies for getting to bed earlier
Sorry, Katia -- I'm temporarily out of circulation for this meeting due to scheduling conflicts. I think I'll be able to resume doing some anchoring starting 5/13, but I won't be there this week or next week. Good wishes to all!

P.S.
Maybe I meant hosting rather than anchoring? Not sure.
