Show up (done), calender, basics
Today is a new day and a new start to change the things I can.
Need to bump up priority for H.A.L.T. for this program too, not just other ones.
"To be who we
are means we accept our physical selves, as well as our mental,
emotional, and spiritual selves, for now. Being who we are in recovery
means we take that acceptance one step further. We can appreciate our
history and ourselves.
Being
whom we are, loving and accepting ourselves, is not a limiting attitude.
Accepting and loving ourselves is how we enable growth and change.
Today, I will be who I am. If I'm not yet certain who I am, I will affirm that I have a right to that exciting discovery. "

I have about 4 hours to work this afternoon and I'm trying to figure out what to spend it on. I'm feeling a lot of resistance...
OK, I'm going to:
*
Check on expts, tag/tail (30 min)(wow, this took 2 hours)*Deacon contacts (30 min) (ok, this turned out to be a bear of a task, which I've spend 2 hrs on so far but I have only 3 contacts to go--these are emails, so I will do them from home this evening)
*Clean bench, make new collection date book, sign up for sectioning time (30 min)
*Finish script (30 min)
*Win 18,446 plan (1 hr 30 min)
*Figure out common human motifs for prdm9 (1 hr)
In the evening, I'll email about social event, make creamed spinach, and take care of my finances.

Hi, All!
This post is a work in progress to help me figure out my priorities for today, and to celebrate anything I accomplish, however small.
**** Celebrating! ****
:-) I did a little bit of Shiva Nata
:-) I looked at some impersonal "personal" emails, deleted some, and responded to some of the requests for online action
I drafted this list! and printed it out! and synchronized it to my phone!
I wrote another verse for the Song of the Recovering Procrastinator!
I used Havi Brooks' V-bird technique to get myself into the shower cheerfully!
I did 5-10 minutes of yard work in back courtyard (really more like 25 minutes!)
:-) I did some listening to the music for our upcoming dance performance.
I enjoyed the glorious spring weather and birdsong and did a bit of photography.
I fixed oatmeal and apple and walnuts for the first meal of the day, while listening to a little of The Silent Speaker.
think re what I want to do at project date with D and gather stuff to take
pay and mail bills
16:00 project date with D
shop drugstore for m-p's
unload dishwasher
pay online for this month's Qi Gong / Tai Chi classes
make at least 30 minutes of progress on tax prep (90+ minutes preferred) (I didn't time this, but I think I put in 30 or more minutes of effort--finding and annotating checkbook register and sorting/filing preliminary paperwork)
****These Are Important!****
let's do these before midnight (earlier would be better!)
do 15 minutes of Qi Gong
do at least 10 minutes of clear-out (preferably more! with clean-up!)
use balancer!
take bedtime Rx
****These Are a Really Good Idea!****
best to do these before heading south for today's errands in that direction:
:-) cook artichokes and turkey sausage (artichokes cooking now)
heave last of vegie soup and put pan to soak
do some journaling re when to schedule car maintenance including new battery
make shopping lists
look at library books, see if I'm ready to return any today, note any next acts
shop for additional underpinnings that work with dance costume
look up due dates for filing 2011 health care insurance claims
timing is more flexible for these:
consider next audiobook purchases
****I Would Be Glad To Have Done These****
:-) throughout the day!: practice things from Havi Brooks
any time I'm in the kitchen for more than a few minutes:
:-) listen to some of The Silent Speaker
by 14:00: shop farmer's market (I missed today's time window for this--maybe tomorrow...)
preferably before 20:00:
clean bathroom sink
handwash dbr
try oxy bleach on hipscarf
start sketching last week's cool dream scenes
journal and/or do web research re possible future date ideas, maybe send to P?
do some treo calendar updating

Miravelle - 12:33am - 3/3/2012
Alright, so I'm still struggling to get small homework assignments done early rather than a few hours before class... so here's hoping tomorrow I can make one small step in the right direction:
1) Read assignment for Monday's class. That's all. Just do that.
