Saturday 21st October

pro's last check-in - 10pm

I see I was the last checker-inner today. Hmmm....

I was out all day. I went to the Farmer's Market to get apples, then spent many hours in a huge bookstore in Union Square, and then had dinner in a great restaurant nearby. I was startled to see how late it was when I got in - almost 10pm!

I'm going to get ready for bed. Since I need so much sleep lately, I might as well start early! I will probably read in bed for a while - I got some good books.

pro's CI - 11:10am

Leaving now (though not all of morning routine was finished).

  • Morning Routine
    • Wake up: 8:45am (no target - it's the weekend).
    • Empty dish drain and wash any dishes from previous day.
    • Make bed (convert futon back into couch). This morning I folded the bedding up with the bed. I'm tired to stripping and making the bed every day. It doesn't look as nice, but bedtime will be easier.
    • Get dressed.
    • Pick up apartment.
    • Make and eat breakfast.
    • Put in contacts.
    • Reflection.

  • Morning Routine.
    • Take out pills for the day.
    • Swallow morning pills.
    • Wash breakfast dishes.

pro's first check-in - 9:45am

Again I went to sleep early last night and slept late - I'm still catching up on sleep. Today I want to go to the Farmer's Market and the bookstore, so I'm hurrying up with my morning routine. I skipped my bedtime routine last night, so I had to do a lot of things from yesterday today (like washing dishes).

Apart from the ladder I've done things and also been for a walk which I did not want to and have washed up and cleaned up in the kitchen so I don't have to do that tomorrow.

Thanks for being here.

Good week-end to you all.

Mine will be about finishing website1, website2 and hopefully a report for a friend. If I were to achieve these over the week-end, I would feel my week-end well used. I know it is all about work, but I think I have taken too much "rest" before.
Step18 has 2 parts and then 5 similar parts for 53 files.

part1 : 30 minutes
part2: 30 minutes
for each file:
- part1: 5 minutes and 2 minutes if no changes needed
- part2: 5 minutes and 2 minutes if no changes needed
- part3: 5 minutes and 2 minutes if no changes needed
- part4: 10 minutes and 2 minutes if no changes needed
- part5: 30 minutes on the required files ( 4 of normally)

After that I will be left only to test and check all from
user point of view before to call website1 finished from my side.

don't forget time off

You should take a day off this weekend. It's not healthy to work all the time.

Also, too much work with no break will cause you to procrastinate later, in rebellion.

Interesting observation

Thats interesting pro. I used to work on projects for many many hours and get high on doing so. Sometimes I wish I could still do so. But having done so I then did nothing for a long time. Overall it was not a very efficient way of working.
