I added a couple of pretty graphics. Housereclaimer is right, though. It's very easy to do. Do you see the link in the Site Content menu on the left called "Graphics for Forum Posts"? Click that. At the top it explains how to do it (one line, very easy), and then gives you many dozen graphics to choose from. Try it - it makes check-ins fun! --pro

I've been thinking about how I'd like to spend this day. Now that I've been out, I'm not so itchy to leave my apartment that I can't stay here and do things. My energy is still not 100% back after being sick, so I'm going to stay home and do things here (read, research some things on the internet, watch a movie on TV, etc.).

It occurs to me that I have no idea what I'm going to do today. I don't want to work - I'll start working again tomorrow - but I don't want to piddle away the day, either. In "First Things First", Covey talks about recreation (re-creating yourself) versus piddling your time away with television, electronic games, or addictive behavior. I want to do something recreational today - something I enjoy, but that isn't a waste of my time. Not sure what yet. :?

Congratulations! I know what it's like to have your hours reversed like that. I got into a thing where I was staying up all night and then sleeping half the day. It made me feel lousy, and I couldn't get anything done.
One of the big things I did when I started checking in here was set a firm bedtime for myself, and stick to it. Now I'm in bed by 11 or 12, and get up before 8am. It feels a lot better!!
The first time you make yourself go to bed early you won't be tired, and you'll have to wake yourself up with an alarm. Within a week, though, your inner clock will be readjusted.
