Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

just thought i'd introduce myself...

Hello!

I'm very excited/apprehensive to be here!  I joined becasue I've been effectively not doing 80% of my job for nearly a full year and need to start work again but i'm paralyzed!  This is my first step to getting some help since the anxiety is nearly killing me.

Work, bills, exercise...  you name it, I’ll think about doing it later :)

My big goals are to clean up the stuff I haven't done at work since I’m quitting my job this summer and going back to school and trying to get my finances in order.

have a great weekend everyone!

Welcome Snuzanne

Only a new member myself. Hope you find support here.

thanks for the warm welcome!

Thank you everyone for the warm reception- i feel great being here!

I also found some quotes to share:

Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best.  ~Henry van Dyke

A man would do nothing if he waited until he could do it so well that no one could find fault.  ~John Henry Newman

To escape criticism - do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.  ~Elbert Hubbard

For me, the biggest challenge to get moving is the chance that others will find out about everything that I haven't been doing and think less of me or be angry.

I'm looking for the courage to face up to what i've gotten myself into
