Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.

Ha...I created an account over 2 years ago and then forgot about it...

So, I'm procrastinating and surfing the web tonight, feeling miserable and guilty about all the work I wasn't getting usual. A google search on procrastination brought me to a post on this forum....and then I notice that my web browser had already filled the account login on the left with my info. I clicked to login and realise that I signed up for an account here over 2 years ago, but then never really came back and then forgot about this site. Maybe I wan't ready to tackle my problem back then?

Well, I'm still struggling with this problem, and my procrastination at work has only gotten worse since then. I don't know how I've been getting away with it this long, I've been expecting to be fired.

Anyway, I just read the article on Demand Sensitivity and Demand Resistance and can totally identify with it as my issue. Maybe I am in a better place now, more aware and ready to make some changes. God, I hope so.

I did the same thing!

LOL!!  I came to this page while looking on the web for whether there are therapists that treat procrastination.  I decided to setup an account and lo and behold, I already had one that was about 18 months old!

I'm back here, but haven't really done anything yet.  I'm setting this as my homepage so that I open it everytime I hit my browser.  It's a start . . . I feel pretty sure that if I work the program, the program will work (that's an AA mantra).  So, welcome back, and hopefully you can get comfort here that you are so not alone!!

Welcome back Karlinka

Glad you found your way back.

This site has made a big difference to me especially since I started using the check in and chat box. There are phone and online meetings too, so look around.
You are in good company here! Smile
