Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
Sometimes the universe sends a clear message to do nothing for a day. I went to the shed to retrieve the chainsaw to finish cutting up tree from yesterday, I'm out of gas for it. Had just started work in the garage and DD3 woke up early from her nap. She and I could split wood together, splitter out of gas, too. She can ride with me to mow the grass, dead battery. That's it, I'm not supposed to do anything today. Maybe that nap that pro and Normy were talking about.

Well, I managed to do my planning for next week - the week usually seems to go better when I've got my basic outline done, and it ~always~ goes better when I've got daily plans done for the week, but I haven't got round to doing that this time.

Too late to go to bed early, so I'm knocking off now and going to bed now. Good night all - have a productive and/or restful rest of the day to those of you with a 'rest of the day' left!
Play was pretty good. Not going to get much else done today, which is frustrating. Sucks that I didn't go into work - if I had woken up sooner... oh well. I'm going to do the dishes.

Oh dear - I've left it rather late to do anything else on this list. What's the phrase that pro uses when something gets deferred? Rolled over, maybe? I'm going to roll over the rest of it until tomorrow, and do some planning now instead. I know - I'm procrastinating again, but at least it's useful procrastination so it's a step in the right direction.

Phew! This is slow going! I was doing OK at first, then I had some computer problems and my mind went into the land of mush and I had to re-do some stuff and was very slow second time round. At least I've got something done. Pro talking about futons and beds has got me daydreaming about my bed...might just take a nap. I think that's probably procrastinating, but I think I'm going to do it anyway. I wonder what time my previous bookend was? I'm going to take a look and see how long this has taken me....Oh my goodness! Two and a half hours! I need to get cracking - right...after...my...nap........

I'm moving in very slow motion today, and would like nothing better than to take a nap. But I slept for 9.5 hours last night, so I can't justify it. :P Also, I need to leave for my brother's house, so I don't have time.
I washed a pair of new pants for the first time yesterday - in cold water, low dryer temperature and not even dried all the way, and THEY SHRUNK. They're too short now, and too tight.
This pisses me off SO MUCH. I followed the washing instructions exactly, these were not cheap, and now they don't fit. (I needed an "angry" smiley so I uploaded some more.)
They are mopping the floors in the hallway with that extremely strong-smelling cleaner. It is just disgusting - sickly sweet. I've tried complaining to the super about it with no result. Next week I'll try calling the building manager. The smell makes me sick and gives me a migraine.

Morning Routine
Wake up: 9:30am (no target - it's Sunday!).
Empty dish drain and wash any dishes from previous day.
Make and eat breakfast.
Take out pills for today and tomorrow (trip).
Make bed (did not convert futon to couch because leaving).
Put away drip dry hung up yesterday.
Clear spam folder.
Wrap presents for nieces.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~To Do~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Morning Routine.
Put on exercise clothes (showered night before).
Swallow morning pills.
Wash breakfast dishes.
Put in contacts.
Reflection.
Shower and dress.
Pack for overnight trip to brother's house.
Eat lunch, wash lunch dishes.
Take midday pills.
Leave for train station. (Won't be checking in after this until Monday evening or Tuesday morning.)
I'm wandering in circles around my apartment doing nothing. Maybe a shower will jolt me out of my inertia. Or maybe I should lean on my to-do list - just go through the tasks one by one without thinking about it too much.
If I don't convert the bed into a futon so I can push it out of the way, there's no room for me to do my Pilates, so I'll blow that off today. I'm too low-energy for that, anyway.
Arguably my next move should be to make the bed, but I feel more like getting into it. :?
Oh, I know... I'll just make up the bed and not convert the futon to a couch. I'm leaving in a few hours, and I'll be coming back at bedtime tomorrow so there's no point.
Hey y'all! Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
Stayed up 'till 3 am, woke up late today. I'm going to have to rearrange my day because of it, but I think it's okay. This list will probably change a bit as day goes on.

I've eaten, and I filled in a catalogue shopping order that's due to be picked up tomorrow.
Now what's next on that ToDo list?
Hi Rexroth - you might've gone to bed by now, but peaceful dreams and have a restful night's sleep.
Glad to see you back Normy.

Nearly two hours since my last post and I've been procrastinating all that time. I didn't even have the nap.
Off to get something to eat then I'm going to start again.

Last check-in until Monday night or Tuesday. I'm late, late, late. Turning off computer now to pack it.
Pills
Hey hey! You could throw those pills down your neck couldn't you?
Take care and have a great time with your nieces. Don't listen to anything negative your brother might have to say - just take the positive!
pro's CI - 2pm
Yikes. I have to leave in half an hour, and I'm no where near ready. Gotta hurry up!!

Yup!
I've even procrastinated on the nap :P
1:05pm
I fled to the shower to evade the stench of the dreadful cleanser the super uses in the hallway.
more packing aggravation
I just realized I left the hanger that goes into my suitcase at the inn I stayed at earlier this week. :(
