Hi group! Uunexpected work responsibilities (a call from the boss at 5:15) kept me up way late last night so I started today with a nice sleep-in sanctioned by my Higher Power. Then I had my Step 11, personal and pet care, breakfast, a conference call, a colleague call, a client call, and some email.
I played 2 rounds of Free Cell while on the phone; not sure if this is ADD compensation (helps me listen better), or addict behavior (holding out). I welcome others' opinions on this point.
Next I would like to enjoy lunch DONE, research and outline that newly-urgent work project IN PROGRESS, finish AP xls, call schools, walk dog, enjoy dinner and take treats to the grandkids. ADDED: schedule therapies, travel for next week.
need to rat myself out - I am resisting doing the research and writing on this new project. Been surfing on the excuse that I needed to clear out my Inbox...which I do, but not as urgent and important right now as this project. Going to chatbox now to get back on track.

*Do 1 midterm problem
*buy tickets (will do this soon)
*write up primate data
*get together gene lists, run GSEA(working on this now)
If I have more time I want to:
*deal w/ financial stuff
*NLP catch-up
*start research other species
OK, now I'm going to try to do the midterm problem now. Heading to the chatbox.
Update 2:45--OK, well I'm having a bit of a rough day, but I have gotten the midterm done.
Now, I need to get together gene lists and make sure I have preliminary GSEA results. What I'd like to have is results for cyp26b1, first wave, and stages. Steps for this are:
*Re-run GSEA for cyp26b1 data and type up results, get gene lists and look at them
*Figure out how to map btwn mouse and rat data
*Figure out to best align stages and first wave data
*Run GSEA on stages data
*Run GSEA on 1st wave data
*Run GSEA on combo data
