Slider's Bookending
This is where I post what I intend to do so that I have accountability and so that I can receive the reflections and observations of others as I work on handling my procrastination.

Ok, I'm a little confused about the whole column thing, so if I did this wrong, somebody please correct me! I figured having a heading for me, and then starting a new comment thread daily would make it easiest to keep track of things. Normy's column confused me this morning because it went all the way back to December and I wasn't expecting that! Then I realized that you guys must have been keeping individual columns or threads in the past.

I shouldn't be able to check in right now, but I DID NOT go to the nursing home on time because I was setting up the church's new computer to dial-up and trying to set up the OutLook, too, so that the secretaries (elderly ladies who are still somewhat terrified of the computer) can check our e-mail, which has been unchecked for a week. My tardiness means I am skipping lunch with the residents, but I will be there before any structured, scheduled activities. So I am eating at home (next door to the church) and decided to check in. I'll just continue with this thread until tomorrow.

woop woop! come join the new day thread!
Don't say "my tardiness". You were doing something useful. You made a choice. Don't put yourself down for not being able to be in two places at once!
Meanwhile... Could you switch over to the new day thread?
I'm not trying to confuse people here - really! But Normy pointed out that it takes just that much additional effort to visit someone else's check-in thread, and made a suggestion that we all post in one day thread but without sections for each person (so the most recent check-in is always on top). I thought that was a good idea, so I started a new day thread and I've been posting in there. Look in the "Active Forum Topics" box and you'll see it.
Morning Slider!
good morning!!
Hey, thanks!
To both normy and pro--guess I set it up ok, huh?
You certainly did!
