Happy Christmas Eve, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, and anything else that the PA family is celebrating this time of year!

Recycler CI 3:55pm EST

Hi Pro Buddies!

Journey, I really like the threadstarter.

Here I'm rounding another corner of progress! Whew!!! Work is looking like I can leave on time today. Next, I'm still going to look through some stacks of paper, to see what is lurking about ;)

Status of home readiness. lol. I did get the jello salad made last night. Yay! :) (and also become overwrought emotionally, so went to my meeting). OK, even though the condo is no where near ready, the jello salad is made, and that is the only thing that I HAD to do ahead of time (due to jelling time needed, etc ;) Um, I also need to wrap a few more presents, as my dad's birthday is Dec 28. So technically present-wrapping needs to be finished, too.

Plan: ok, I am embarassed to rely again on my old stand-by, but I am going to toss boxes & bags in the side bedrooms. Principle: people before things. I will get the living room & dining room ready before Dad & Aunt Catherine arrive tomorrow. The other parts don't have to be perfect. ((sigh))

Next: continue finishing things up here. Will I get to update my CI later? We'll see!

6:35pm. I made it through the end of the day. Everything went well. Even though I have things I need to do, it seems that I think goofing off by surfing the Internet will be a good way to get started ;)

Next: priorities: I think wrapping the remaining gifts will be the most important thing I can do. Also the tree has lights, but is not decorated ;) Amount I feel like doing those: about 4%. lol. OK, I'll goof off a few more minutes, and then see what I can do ;)

Have a great evening, everyone! :)

Thank you, gals & guys, for being here! :)

Convalaria's recovery Thursday 6.15am and updates

More broken sleep and night time eating.
Thank you e for your encouragement yesterday.
I am on antidepressants.  I am feeling a lot of anxiety at the moment due to the consequences of procrastination that I have had to face at work, the free unstructured time that I have and expect to have for the next year and the uncertainty that still exists around arrangements that have to be made in order to make the time away from work possible.
So far i have mananged to keep the paralysis at a moderate level but it has been an enenrgy consuming sturggle to function and do things.
It is interesting to me that I have not touched the work related tasks....Thy can wait...
I am excusing myself with the fact that a lot of the chores I have been doing are overdue and that I am having a break.   I do know that I am avoididng the work related stuff....

People around me are stressed out and it is making me stressed out, but i am asking HP to help me maintain some christmas cheer.

hmmm... I can't let it degrade into a fight between maintaining christmas cheer and getting all the things done. Relying on HP to bring the cheer seems to prevents that.

Just checking in to wish us all a Happy Christmas, Blessed Hannukah, and a warm and safe Holiday of whatever sort you might be celebrating this week.

I'll probably be off the site the rest of today and certainly all of tomorrow. But I have plenty to do Friday so look for me here again then.

Be well, all...

Journey 10 am

Guess I'm the first one here . . . hope you are all doing holiday stuff.  I see Pro and Spock logged on so guess they are working on chat probs.   (thanks!)

I've been to the gym, and I need to take a bath, get dressed for the day and lay out my clothes for tonight's party.  Then I have a few presents to wrap and some food to prepare.  If I have time I'll do some laundry and housework, but those things are the priorities.

Right now I'm going to turn on the bathroom heater and set some photos to upload to facebook while the bathroom gets warm.
