Off to bed now....
Bye everyone! Will CI tomorrow!
7pm.
Hmmm...not a very productive day (it looks like a lot, but doesn't feel like it!). DS didn't go to sleep after all. I got a few things done, but not much progress on the most important ones.
Anyway....
Ta da:
* Load of washing out of dryer and put away
* Put next load of washing in dryer
* Fed kids
* started daily thread and my section
* checked email
* One more load in dryer and one more in washer (Mt Washmore!)
* started adjusting presentation
* broke up 23,332 sibling disputes
* shower, dress, eat...whole morning routine (haven't swept floor and no makeup, tho, couldn't be buggered)
* dress kids and switch off the TV
* made kids' lunch
* did lunch dishes
* played with the kids
* catch-up with a friend (she babysat for a while)
* sent document to other-job boss for review (It was the 9th draft!)
* print out handouts for staff meeting this arvo
* get to staff meeting at work on time (4pm) to present my bit
* hang out delicates in machine now
* got my VPN connection to work fixed
* spend some more time with the kids (does taking them to my work meeting count???!!!)
* talked to insurance guy about insurance (obviously ;))
* went to the supermarket to try to trick DS into agreeing to a sleep (ie, he often goes straight to bed after being out all morning so tried to trick him by emulating it. Thought I had it until he was howling 20 miuntes after being put to bed. Damn!)
* Ate too much chocolate
* Prepared dinner & fed kids
* broke up another 54,071 sibling disputes
To do:
* continue to adjust general presentation to suit specific audience
* start developing handouts
* create post-presentation feedback form
* convert pres into powerpoint version (DH will do most of this)
* drink lots of water and take vitamins (feeling off...just anxious I think)
* decide what I'm cooking for my dinner party tomorrow night (low priority)
* sweep and vacuum (low priority)
I think I'll put a good dent in the presentation tonight, I'll have a good 3 hours to dedicate to it.
WTG Milo!
What a list! How many kids are there?
I know you're planning on checking back here again tonight, so I hope you've managed to get some of the presentation done by then :)
2 kids
A girl and a boy, both under 4.
12 noon...

Going to take the kids for a walk to tire out the little one so he sleeps well over lunch. My friend is coming over and she's taking them to the park after he wakes so I get some work time. God Bless generous friends!
Grrrr...
Didn't go for walk because the kids were playing outside for ages. But then DS wouldn't go to bed!!! So I played a little trick on him and we went for a drive to the supermarket and on the way home gave him his dummy (because of course he was heaps tired) and then we went straight from carseat to bed. He seemed to then forget he didn't want to go to bed and it appears he's gone to sleep. Touch wood...
But that was an hour wasted with all the hoo-ha....
Oh, not a total waste...I bought chocolate..}:)
Milo, so how did you do?
How did you do on your LONG list, Milo? When I have a list that long, I park myself on the couch and watch TV to recover from the trauma.
Great!
I did well! Will post up in my section, but I DID make a good dent in the presentation, as well as creating one handout and a feeback form.
I feel really good!
WTG
chocolate, yum!
:)
Friday already?
Hi ya, Milo! It's Friday there already?
I'm exhausted just READING your to-do list. Yikes! Do you feel overwhelmed?
Oh, yeah!
Yes, I do!!!!!!
