Though it looks nice here, it's very cold outside today, which would be a good opportunity to make this morning "catch up" time. There's a work project waiting for me, but it doesn't absolutely have to be done this morning. It may be a neat thing to set aside some time each week to take care of loose ends.
Catch up list for today:
finish cleaning behind house
put things away in house (some belong in cabinets and drawers, some in the trash!)
fix light in living room
go to bank (because I didn't go Thursday or Friday)
finish sorting laundry
make a decision and follow thru about broken chair: fix it or throw it away
actually drop off the two boxes "to donate" I've been hauling around for a week

I took a vacation day Friday and finished my Christmas shopping, and today was the grandbaby's 1st birthday party. Other than that I'm just chilling and enjoying life! Back to normal tomorrow . ..

Housework
Hi all,
I never did get to cleaning the bedroom yesterday. Tried to change the lightbulbs in the ceiling fan (which is good, since I'd been procrastinating on that. . . ) and it turned out to be wa-a-ay more complicated than expected.
Now my bedroom's kinda dark until I can find a handyperson to fix the lights. But hey, that means I can't see the dust!
Gotta get some housework done; the grubbiness of my place is getting to me. So, next up: a (10 + 2) x 5 hack on housework, starting. . . now!

Done with the (10 + 2) x 5 hack. Now about to clean the spots off the kitchen floor.
Note to self: must buy a good timer. I've tried two online ones, and both froze my computer. And although I'm enamored of my wind-up one because it looks like a chicken, it doesn't work well for anything under 10 minutes or so.

Just watched the end of a Buffy TVS episode on DVD & it was a cliffhanger.
So, here's the deal. . . if I balance my checkbook, figure out what I need to do at the bank tomorrow, and look through evernything in The Pile, I can watch the next episode to see what happens! (Nothing like a little self-bribery!)
