Procrastinators Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic procrastination.
Catching up on Friday's unfinished task of answering a tough question from a prospect. I must analyze what his lawyers are offering to do, what we're offering to do, and what division, roughly, could be made between us.
I estimate this as about 45-60 minutes of work. I've tried starting it 3 times and gotten nowhere. But it's Sunday night. I begin now, at 18:50. Checking in again at 20:00. -- Every year that goes by leaves me a little bit good at a few more things, and no closer to fulfilling my promise. I hate birthdays.
Blech!I'd barely started when I was interrupted by having to give insulin to the cat, then a call from my parents. Just got off the phone and it's an hour after I started my one-hour task.
Checking in again, starting again. Will check in again at 21:00 -- Every year that goes by leaves me a little bit good at a few more things, and no closer to fulfilling my promise. I hate birthdays.
Working on a Sunday is rough. When I was freelancing, I always had trouble with that because I resented it. I'd procrastinate and procrastinate. I still have that problem on weekends. I want this to be my time.
You had to give insulin to your cat? That's... unique. :)

Yes it's hard to work on a weekend, but it's what I get for not doing the work on Friday. My cat has needed twice-daily insulin for over two years now. he's actually quite healthy for all that. see http://petdiabetes.wikia.com/
...And it's now 23:17, more than five hours later, and I've done my bills, bought a CO detector, read a thesis and decided on dialect lessons, and still not written the necessary letter!

Fully dressed now - fingernails and toe nails clipped, shoes on. I'm going outside for a while - maybe just take a walk, may eat lunch out, maybe buy some groceries or go to the bookstore. I'll go to the bookstore - I always like that. And also have lunch - I'm hungry.
Then when I come back, maybe I can do some work in my apartment.

Going to get the lr straightened up, get myself cleaned up and dressed then be back with a plan for the rest of the day. If I sit at this computer any longer before getting started I will end up playing video games!
Rexroth - you started a duplicate day thread. I deleted the dupicate and moved your message over.

Rexroth, I believe we are on exactly the same schedule: the other day I was starting a day thread and when I went to add it, you had just made one! I will look for you in the chatbox around the time I am posting: perhaps we can collaborate.
Good morning, all, or rather afternoon if you live near me. Today has been fairly productive in terms of housework and such, but my anxiety is creeping up about paperwork that is long overdue. Going to nibble on it through out the day....

Elisaveth, lilimissy - please put your username in check-in subjects. We all do that so we can find our messages in the Recent Commetns list. If no one put their name in the subject, it would be a very confusing.
Thanks.
