I took a shower and I'm really glad I did. It was a hot day. And tomorrow, it will be much easier to get out because I'm already showered. Tomorrow I want to be at work at 9am!!
Good night!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.
I washed the dishes - that's something. I should be in bed, but I'm not. I still need to brush my teeth. I'm thinking about taking a shower before bed, but I'm not sure I will.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.
I got the committe people emailed earlier today and I'm down to only 4 papers to grade. I actually have a lot more, but only 4 left of the one I'm currently working on (: I'm getting ready to go walk and I might try to do one more before I go to bed. As you can probably tell, grading papers is my least favorite thing about being a teacher.
I've had a "fun" day. I drove an hour and 45 minutes to attend a presentation that is not today but NEXT THURSDAY...oops! However, I would like to point out that I would have been on time-had the conference been held today (: I'm now back in my office for about 45 minutes until my next appointment. Here's my list:
Email committee Work on grading roles assignment-8 left to grade
Hope everyone is having a more productive day than me!
I cleared my spam folder. That's something and I needed to do it, but it's not what I most needed to do.
Okay - I committed to my therapist that I would spend a half hour filing tonight. I can do this. It's just a half hour. If that seems too long, maybe I can do 15 minutes at a time - set the timer.
I also need to water the plants tonight - I never watered them last weekend.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.
I'm too tired now. I'm not going to do anything tonight. I'm just going to go to bed and set the alarm so I'm up early tomorrow. I can't be late for work tomorrow because I have an early morning meeting. Oh well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Procrastination is the grave in which opportunity is buried.
I had a therapy session tonight, and I talked about my procrastination. I usually don't even mention the little problem of not having filed tax returns since 2003. I asked her to hold me accountable, and to ask me each week what I'd done. I committed to doing a half hour of filing tonight, and 15 minutes on my pile every day after work.
I regret it already. I really don't feel like doing this. :(

Argh!!!! I keep getting so off track today. I was looking at all my school email and just totally got panicked and distracted and wanted to control everything NOW -- and meanwhile I haven't done the work my dissertation coach assigned.
I desperately need to center.
Luckily, my sponsor in another program called and I committed to setting a timer or 15 minutes and stopping looking at email after that. I did that more or less.
Now I have to: post on here (doing it) meditate start doing my homework assignment, which is journaling THEN I can worry about the recalled library books . ..
Looks like we're all late starters today. Well, I guess we're all late starters every day :)
Done: Gym (only 2 minutes late for class lol) Email 9:30 meeting Call Help Desk about the funny noise my computer is making
To do:
Finish backup of home computer Finish SAD review 3 conference calls (three!) hopefully I can multitask during at least one of these calls Change request for Oct. 6 Project #2 - as much as possible Project #1 - nothing today I hope Department meeting - 1.5 hours
Weekend planning doc
clean up kitchen tonight
Put portable hd in bag
Other stuff needs to be done - before PA I would have put them all on my list, but since I'm putting it down here in black and white I'm only listing the things I really think I can get done. It's a new way of looking at it. It feels funny. lol

I forgot to set up the Thursday thread last night. Someone else could have, of course.
I fell asleep really early last night, and woke up late. I don't know what that's about. I've only just got up and I'm already late.
I have a heavy day at work today. Happily I have a therapy appointment later.
