Salamander's Overdue Tax Returns

I have today posted to my accountant what I believe to be the final documentation he needs to get my tax returns completely up to date. It was my goal to have this done in September. This will remove the threat of court action from HMRC - huzzah! May I please indulge myself in a modest WOOOOOOOT! about it? Cool

Housework success

I have spectacular demand avoidance on any housework activities.  I am therefore delighted to announce that today I put the crockery and cutlery in the dishwasher because I wanted to in order to keep the kitchen tidy, not because I HAD to to get a clean cup for my coffee.

This is a major step forward!

Completed tunic

For the past month, I have procrastinated on completing the tunic I started. The front and back didn't match up, the pattern didn't fit once I'd cut it out and sewed it together, and I sewed the sleeves in wrong - Too much of a bother! So, I slept on the couch for 30 days stewing because everything was laying on my bed, and I didn't even want to touch it.

Writing Progress

I started posting here on August 11th with an introduction and created a special project thread in relation to finishing my thesis.

Since then, today is August 26th i.e. in 15 days, I have written at least 9,000 words. I've spent 2-3 weeks before this writing barely 200words and not even touching my work because I was too anxious and overwhelmed.

Tried the magic bullet...it worked

I am new to this site..I've poped into the chatbox and had a go at the microburst (got the dishes done in a swift 10 mins)..

MAde a list of things I can do in varying amounts of time (got it from the Get Things Done strategy article..organisings lists around timeframes/locations)...great idea!!

When I founded Procrastinators Anonymous and this Web site, I was years behind in my tax returns (5 years behind, by the time I caught up). I am now 100% current, and have been filing my quarterly and annual returns on time for the last two years. Smile
